West Bay Harbor Vacation Home in Traverse City

Our home is located in Leelanau County, just outside the city limits
of Traverse City. We are about 15 minutes from Cherry Capital Airport. The home is in a very private setting with lots of trees and wildlife yet a very nice view of Grand Traverse Bay and the Elmwood Township Harbor.  It even comes with a fresh vegetable/herb garden for your enjoyment! The home is just under 3000 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  There is a queen hideabed in the lower level family room.  We have a deck with seating area, overlooking our pond.  There is also a patio at the pond with table and chairs.  Great place to relax and feed the fish. We are about 1 mile north of the city limits. 

The harbor is right across M-22 from us, along with the public
beach. Cedar Lake is less than 1/2 mile away and great for inland fishing or
waterskiing. You can even grab a couple of our fishing poles and try your luck at the elusive muskie. Less than 1/4 mile away is the TART Trail (Traverse Area Recreation Trail). This
is a paved trail through the woods and over the streams, that runs for many miles. Hop on our
bikes and take a beautiful ride through the woods of Leelanau County or a 10 minute ride into
Traverse City. There are also many golf courses within the area. If you are into tennis, there are
rackets available to play tennis.

The home comes complete with linens and towels. The kitchen is
complete with pans, dishes, coffee pot, microwave, stove etc. There is a washer and dryer for your use. We also have many movies and games available.  There is wi-fi
available for your laptop. There is a horseshoe pit off the lower level along with a firepit.  There is a ping-pong table and darts in the rec room. This home is completely furnished and
ready for you to move in and have all the conveniences of home. Our home does have central air
conditioning if it gets too warm!
We are 5 minutes from Munson Medical Center in case of an emergency!
We ask that any smokers, please refrain from smoking in the home.

There are so many activities in the area. The Fourth of July, National Cherry
Festival (June 29-July 6, 2013), Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Traverse City Film Festival (July 30-August 4, 2013) are huge highlights
of the area. Charter fishing and scuba trips can be booked in the harbor right across the street.  Historic Fishtown is a beautiful day trip along with the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes.  There are two casino's within 25 miles.  There are many antique shops and wineries close by and watersports galore!  We send out a packet of information prior to arrival on local interests, current activities, maps, etc.

May 25, 2013 through September 9, 2013, the weekly rental fee will be $2000. This includes all taxes and fees. 
$500.00 refundable reservation/damage deposit.
The reservation deposit is due within 5 days of booking to reserve your date,
with the full rental amount due 21
days prior to arrival. The reservation deposit becomes your security deposit upon checkin.  Any cancellations within 21 days of arrival
will forfeit monies paid unless
property can be re-rented for that time period.
On-line calendar reflects the last night of occupancy.
Weekly rentals are normally 4:00pm Saturday until 10:00am the
