This wonderful contemporary saltbox is located in prestigious Lion
Head area. Just a 1 minute (really!) stroll to bay beach at
Gardiner's Bay. Seasonal water views from front deck. Recently
renovated and redecorated with all new contemporary, tasteful
furnishings. Living room with comfortable seating area facing cozy
brick fireplace for those cool evenings.

Central air/heat.  Light and bright kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including
Viking stove) and granite countertops for easy entertaining. Large master bedroom plus two
additional guest bedrooms. Private and secluded pool area. Private, on
mostly wooded 2/3 acre. Huge, brand new Ipe Brazilian wood deck
(more than 1000 s.f.!)

3 bedrooms: 1 with king bed, 1 with queen bed, 1 with 2 full beds.

Approximately 5 houses away (1 minute walk!) to Gardiner's Bay beach and
8 min. drive to beautiful ocean beaches. Telephone, stereo, high speed
wi-fi internet, large flat screen HDTV, cable and DVD players,
heated pool, stainless steel appliances and Viking Stove in kitchen,
outdoor Weber grill, cozy fireplace, beautiful art, linens and towels
provided, full sized washer/dryer, all basic kitchen supplies. Bicycles.

2012 Rates:

May-June: $3500 per week (Memorial Day week -- $4000)

July-Labor Day: $4500 per week

September-April(after LD): starting at $2000 per week and up,
depending on dates

NO PROMS OR LARGE GROUPS; MINIMUM ONE WEEK RENTAL IN HIGH SEASON; Rates exclusive of $150/wk house/pool cleaning fee; propane for pool billed separately

All rentals are on a Friday to Friday schedule; in no earlier than Friday at 5pm, out no later than 11am the following Friday

Spent a lovely relaxing week at the beach house. From watching the deer go by while enjoying a coffee, sitting beside the pool, to enjoying a late night dinner prepared on the barbecue - everything was wonderful. The location to Gardiner's Bay is less than a 2 minute walk where you can enjoy the sunset every evening. This home has everything you could ever want or need to enjoy a week away from home. The downtown of East Hampton is close by where you can spend a day browsing through the shops. Would love to return again someday to this magnificent home.

A Real Home Away From Home

This was our third off-season vacation here and we have already confirmed to come back! We love this saltbox and cannot say enough wonderful things about the property. This home (not house) exactly represents itself in the description. Every detail shows you that the owner really took a lot of time and put in a lot of thought into setting the perfect hideaway. It is beautifully decorated and nicely situated in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Everything was perfect, met all our needs and more! Super clean, very spacious with all the comforts of home, extensive and caring maintained.

Paperwork was easy , Landlord was accessible 24/7 by phone and/or email and spared no effort to ensure a trouble-free, terrific stay!!!

Ann, thanks for sharing this perfect hideaway with us! We can't wait to come back.

Best vacation home in the Hamptons

I’ve been staying at this home for the past 4 years for an annual vacation during the summer months and each year the experience gets better and better. The location is fantastic in the Lions Head area of East Hampton, which provides for a secluded and private stay. The location is conveniently located to downtown East Hampton and to the Main Beach (which is ranked as one of the top ten beaches in the US according to the travel channel). Also, Montauk is only a 15 minute ride away for more beaches, restaurants and shopping.

The house itself provides everything you could wish for in terms of a week (s) long vacation. A fully furnished home, in which the owner has thought of everything you would need for your vacation to the Hamptons. The home is very modern with fabulous amenities along with a heated pool and extra large decking for entertainment and cook outs. With all the great attractions in the Hamptons, more often than not we end up staying at the house more than anything else and when you see it you will understand why. A great venue for family and friends to get together and eat well, be active and have fun. I’m already looking forward to this year’s trip!
