Lorna's Landing in South Haven

Our home will accommodate either individual or multiple families. We don't think you can find a nicer rental for less money! This home is clean!

You get the best of both worlds at Lorna's Landing: Close to beautiful Lake Michigan (2 miles) and it's beaches. But also a taste of seclusion in a private country setting, away from beach and city traffic!

The children will love the room to roam! The ravine is full of wild flowers and paths to explore, the long driveway is set far back from the roadway.

Long, private, paved driveway (500' from roadway) is perfect for children to bring bikes, skateboards, etc. without fear of traffic.

Two-story home with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, one with jacuzzi tub.

The main level has an open floor plan which includes a dining room that seats entire group, a large living room with lots of seating, and a TV/DVD player with satellite television.

Two sets of French doors open to a large covered deck, overlooking a beautiful wooded ravine. This beautiful covered deck has ceiling fans for a cool breeze, plenty of furniture, large propane grill, full size refrigerator...it's like having an outdoor living room!

Kitchen comes completely equipped with refrigerator with ice and water in door, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, microwave, 2 coffeemakers, toaster, blender, pots and pans, dish and silverware service for entire group.

One full bathroom on main level with tub/shower and the washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. Breakfast nook with table, next to kitchen with large windows overlooking the ravine.

The second floor has 4 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 has a king size bed with t.v.. Bedroom #2 has a queen size bed. Bedroom #3 has two twin-over-full bunkbeds and bean bags. Bedroom #4 has two twin-over-full bunkbeds and a 2 cushion sofa. All linens, pillows, comforters and towel sets are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels. Full bathroom with large shower and jacuzzi tub and double sinks. The house has games, puzzles, and books for all ages. 

Soak up the sun in the backyard.

The fire pit area is large and has enough seating for everyone. Start a fire and cozy up for some smores OR grab a flashlight and start a tradition of scary stories...  Also horse shoe pits and a wooden swing set, slide, and climbing wall.

Each level has its own central air/heating units with separate thermostats.

This is a Smoke-free and pet free home.

Besides being only a short drive to the  Beach in South Haven we're within a bicycle ride to the famous KalHaven trail which starts in South Haven and goes East to Kalamazoo (a 37 mile trail!). This home is located within walking distance to South Haven's famous Sherman Dairy.(Awesome ice-cream!) People come from all over Western Michigan  for a taste of Sherman Dairy's ice cream treats!

South Haven is a two hour drive from Chicago, three hours from Detroit, one hour from South Bend, and one hour from Grand Rapids.

Rental Rates

July and August the weekly rental rate is $2000.00 and rented only by the week. May, June, Sept. and Oct.: rent 2 nights for $175. a night, or 3 or 4 nights for $150. per night

Saturday - Saturday rentals
Check-out: noon  Check-in: 5 PM

A deposit of 50% of the rental fee and a refundable security deposit of $500.00 is due with the rental agreement. (We will provide a rental agreement at the time of reservation). The remaining balance of the rental fee is due 30 days before your arrival date. The security deposit will be returned within 10 days after departure, provided there is no damage or more than usual cleaning time.
