Vacation Rental Amenities

A lovely Maine vacation gathering place centrally located at mid-coast, down Back Cove on the 
Medomak River. This retreat offers a deep water mooring, dock, tennis courts, and pond.  While 
playing tennis let the kids play at the fresh water pond that abuts the courts. "Downalong" is a 
great spot for walkers and bicyclists; great for a vacation retreat or year round living.

Activities and Attractions

Folks staying at this property have use of all of the amenities of the association, including the 
tennis courts, fresh water swimming pond with sand beach and swim float. Fish and launch your kayak 
from the dock to the tidal river.  A boat mooring is also available. 
The area around Waldoboro is steeped in the Maine tradition of small coastal towns with fine local 
fare, quaint coastal settings and country fairs and festivals to celebrate the summer season. 
These include the Blues Festival, Seafood Festival and Antique Fairs to name a few.  Theatre 
productions can be found for all ages.  It's easy to hop on a ferry and visit the offshore islands 
for a day, or go for a chartered sail at sunset.

Vacation Rental Rates

Summer rates are $2000 per week for the shoulder seasons and $2500 per week in July & August. 
Monthly rates negotiatable. Year round rentals are also available for this property at a reduced 
rate in the $1500-1900 per month range.
