Sunset Cottage on the Bay (Blue House above the beach)
Recently built custom 3 bedroom, 3 bath home only steps from the sand
and water. Watch the porpoises play from your living room. Home has
the main living areas on the second floor while the bedrooms and
laundry are on the first. The upstairs is bright and open with over 30
windows and 15 foot ceilings. There is a circular glass fireplace at
the top of the oak staircase and separate sitting area with 180 degree
views. There is also a great room, dining area and a covered porch
overlooking the water and beach. The kitchen is surrounded by a
breakfast bar and has all stainless steel appliances, gas stove and a
built in microwave and dishwasher The first floor also has a covered
porch and an outside shower with hot water.

The Master bedroom has a king sized bed and a private full bath.
The second and third bed rooms have trundle beds which can be
configured as either two twins or a king. These bedrooms are
serviced by an additional full bath.
All bedrooms have cable TV and DVD players.
The house is serviced by a high speed Internet connection.
Each floor has separate heating and air conditioning as well as
electrostatic air filtration.
The home is protected by direct wired fire and intrusion detection.
Off street parking for up to 5 cars is available.

A few steps from the front porch lead you to a smooth sandy beach
suitable for swimming or sunbathing. Fishing and crabbing is great
from the nearby jetty. Kayaks and Catamarans dot the water in front of
Sunset Cottage while bicyclists and joggers go by in front.
A few short blocks down the street you'll find Typhoon Henry's,
popular restaurant.
Less than 1 mile along the beach, you'll find the terminal for the
Cape May - Lewis ferry. Beside housing a fine restaurant, it is your
gateway to fantastic shopping in Delaware with over 130 outlet stores
and many fine restaurants.
A few minutes drive will take you to historic Cape May, playground of
the Victorian elite and Presidents. There you will find miles of beaches along the Atlantic ocean. Historical homes, home of the famous Cape May Spa, Washington mall, Boardwalk and GREAT seafood restaurants (Lobster House). A little further brings you to Wildwood with it's amusement piers and boardwalks. Lastly Atlantic City with it's glitzy shows and casinos is only 35 miles north.
