A floor-to-ceiling stacked rock fireplace in the living room welcomes weary travelers to relax and unwind while enjoying mountain & meadow views from this quiet cabin in the Northeast Georgia Blue Ridge mountains. Walls of tongue-in-groove knotty pine panelling give warmth to the main rooms, which are accented with maple floors. Built in 2005 and gently used, OSO SUITE features 2 oversized bedrooms and an extra-large loft which sleeps 2. A full acre of natural woods habitat next to the cabin has been enhanced with native landscaping and feeders to attract lots of birds and butterflies. Deer and wild turkey are frequently spotted strolling through the property. Porch & deck wrap around 3 sides of the cabin with lots of seating. Whether you're sitting on the rustic log furniture in the front, or unwinding in the multi-jet Sundance spa listening to your favorite bluegrass music on the built-in entertainment system, the mountains are always in front of you. The upstairs Master Suite, adjacent to the loft, has a deluxe king-sized bed. Master Bath with jetted tub overlooks the woods, and features a huge walk-in closet. Main floor bedroom with queen bed has french doors that overlook front porch and more mountain views. Sleeping facilities are augmented by a chair-and-a-half twin sleeper in the Living Room. A futon in large loft folds down to accommodate children or extra guests. The wireless high-speed internet modem is also located there. Remote control ceiling fans in the main rooms help cool in the summer and distribute warmth in the winter. All stainless steel appliances are featured in the fully equipped kitchen. Dining room is highlighted by sunny bay windows overlooking landscaping, bird feeders, and deluxe spa. Full-sized washer & dryer are recessed into main floor bathroom laundry closet. Outdoors is an easily accessable full hook-up RV pad (50 amp power, city water, sewer, & cable TV) adjacent to cabin, which has accommodated up to 39' rigs. A large custom-designed wood-burning fire pit on the edge of the property allows you to roast marshmallows and share good cheer on cool evenings. The cabin is accessed by well-paved roads with no excessively steep slopes (this is especially important in the winter!). More photographs are available on request. The owners will provide upon your arrival a more detailed guide to the cabin, community, and local attractions for your enjoyment.
