Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to our new luxury family retreat on beautiful Lake Hartwell!  Located on a quiet deep water 
cove with a large private covered slip dock, this is the perfect place for your next family 
vacation!  As of June 27, 2008, we have 11' of water at our dock - plenty for boating, swimming & 
fun!

Bring your boat (or rent one) and enjoy water skiing, fishing, swimming and relaxing while still 
having all the comforts of a luxury home!  Very convenient to several boat ramps, nearby marina, I-
85 and the town of Hartwell - the location can't be beat!

Lake views from the entire back of the house and the three decks!  New covered slip dock.  Two 
kayaks available for guest use - explore the cove, have kayak races, fish or just "catch some 
rays"!  Boathouse-themed game room has bar, foosball & dual basketball.  Three plasma TV's with 
premium cable & dvd players, stereo & ipod dock!  Two wood-burning fireplaces - one outside on the 
covered screened deck!  WiFi Access - imagine checking your emails here!  Beachy bunkroom with kid's 
TV, PS2 game system & dvd player.  Tons of board games, cards, books - there's always something to 
do here!

Main Level:  

*Large Great Room with wood-burning fireplace and 42" plasma TV, dvd player and stereo opens to deck 
with new stainless steel gas grill.
*Open fully-stock Kitchen & Dining Area seats 12 and opens to covered screened deck with wood-
burning fireplace and ceiling fan.  Perfect for morning coffee, evening cocktails or roasting 
marshmallows with the kids after sunset!
*Spacious master suite with queen bed, Jacuzzi tub with lake views, double sink bath, and separate 
shower.  
*Upper guest room with queen bed and full bath. 
*Laundry room with full size washer & dryer.

Lake Level:

*Large den with another 42” Plasma TV and dvd player, plus a queen sleeper sofa, opens to huge lake 
level covered deck with more seating.  Deck is a favorite hang out!  
*Boathouse-themed game room with foosball, dual basketball, Plasma TV, and bar - perfect after a day 
on the water!
*Beachy “bunk room” with two twin trundle beds sleeps a total of four – the kids love it! – and 
includes another TV, PS2, dvd player and a private full bath.  
*Fourth bedroom features fantastic lake views and a queen bed and full bath.  

Follow the gently sloped path to our emerald green cove and 28' x 24' covered boat dock with slip, 
sun deck and swim ladder.  Quiet cove makes a perfect place for the kids (and adults) to swim, 
kayak, fish and relax in the sun.  Two kayaks plus air mattresses and water floats provided!

You will find everything you need at our lakefront retreat!  Just bring your swim suit and beach 
towel - everything else is here waiting for you to enjoy!  We love it here and know you will too!

Vacation Rental Amenities

This luxury retreat has everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing & fun stay!  Queen beds have 
luxury pillow top mattresses.  High-thread count sheets, designer bedding & tons of fluffy towels!  
Colorful beachy "Bunk Room" features two twin trundle beds that sleep a total of 4, with a TV, dvd 
player, video games, private full bath & tropical decor!  Pack N Play crib available for our 
youngest guests.

Three decks, all with lake & dock views:

* Upper level deck has bistro table & chairs and huge new stainless steel gas grill.
* Awesome adjoining screened covered deck has tongue & groove wood ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, 
ceiling fan & comfy rattan furniture.
*Spacious lake level deck has pub table & lots of seating - covered and cooled by lake breezes all 
day!

Fully Stocked Kitchen with wood cabinets & solid surface countertops.  All amenities & utensils 
provided, including coffee grinder, coffee maker, blender, electric griddle, toaster, mixer, etc.  
Table seats up to 8 & bar seats 4.  Step outside to the new stainless steel gas grill with side 
burner!  All you need for early morning pancake breakfasts or hearty dinners after a day on the lake!

Activities and Attractions

Lake Hartwell is a spectacular lake situated on the Georgia/South Carolina border with 962 miles of 
shoreline covering nearly 56,000 acres.  Enjoy boating, water-skiing, sailing, or jet-skiing  in the 
sparkling waters – or drop anchor in a quiet cove for swimming and relaxing on sandy beaches!  
Hartwell is a premiere fishing destination and the site of the prestigious 2008 Bassmaster Classic 
tournament.  Fish for largemouth bass, crappie, bream or record-breaking striped bass (a 59.6 lb 
striper set the record here in 2002).  Boat rentals are available & fishing guides can be arranged.
Drive to the cool north Georgia Mountains for hiking, waterfalls, trout fishing, tubing, white-water 
rafting, horseback riding, and scenic drives.  Or, venture out and explore the neighboring towns for 
antiquing, outlet shopping, wine tasting, a Clemson ball game or the South's largest flea market - 
all within a 1 to 1 1/2 hour drive of this Lake Hartwell retreat!

Enjoy our private covered slip dock with sundeck & swim ladder.  We have two kayaks for our guests 
to enjoy in the quiet cove, plus air mattresses & water floats!  Swim, sun, fish & relax to your 
heart's content!  Bring (or rent) your boat for water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing or sunset 
cruises! 

Watch cable TV or dvd's from one of 3 Plasma TV's or enjoy your ipod tunes or cd's with the stereo 
systems.  Can't stay away from the internet?  We have WiFi throughout the house!

At the end of the day, relax on the dock or one of the decks...or head to the Game Room to enjoy 
foosball, mini-basketball, the Plasma TV and bar - cards and board games are available!  Want to 
enjoy s'mores or a cocktail by the fire?  Head to the screened deck with fireplace!  From morning to 
night, there's always something fun here!

Vacation Rental Rates

Nov - Apr .. $275/night (2 night minimum) - $1,700/week
May - Oct .. $325/night (2 night minimum) - $2,000/week (Sat to Sat)

$300 Security Deposit (refundable upon inspection)
$175 Cleaning Fee
All Rates Subject to 7% Sales Tax
