Welcome to Hartwell Lake Escape, your luxury lakefront retreat on beautiful Lake Hartwell! This spacous 4 bedroom / 4 bath house with a private covered dock is the perfect place for your next family vacation or weekend getaway!

Very convenient location - just minutes from I-85, several boat ramps & marinas and the towns of Hartwell & Lavonia!
This well-appointed house features all the amenities you'd expect in a luxury home! Three decks cover the entire back of the house and overlook the yard and lake. The covered screened Deck boasts a beautiful stacked stone fireplace - the perfect place for roasting smores with the kids or enjoying a cocktail after a day on the water! Foosball, wall-mount flat screen LCD TV (with premium cable, of course), dual basketball and a bar can be found in the "Sports Bar" Game Room! Two more 42 inch flat screen plasma TVs along with DVD players & stereo systems can be found in Great Room and Den. Colorful Bunk Room has another TV, DVD player & PS2 game system (with tons of games)! Wi-Fi access throughout; just imagine checking your email here! Board games, cards, puzzles & books - there's always something to do!
Our covered slip dock is located on a deep water cove and includes 2 kayaks for guest use; explore the cove, fish or just relax in the sun! Bring your own boat or rent one from a nearby marina for cruising, waterskiing/wakeboarding, tubing and fishing. Quiet cove is perfect for swimming, sunning, kayaking & fishing! Dock has a swim ladder and spacious sundeck - lots of water floats, air mattresses & life jackets are available for guest use!

The House
Main Level - walk right in from the front drive & parking area:
* Large Great Room with vaulted ceiling and wood-burning fireplace features a 42" plasma TV, DVD player & stereo/CD player/iPod connection. Glass doors open to upper level Deck with professional stainless steel gas grill and bistro table.
* Spacious fully-stocked Kitchen & Dining Area comfortably seats 12 and opens to the covered screened Deck with wood-burning fireplace and ceiling fan. There's no better place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee (well, the dock is pretty nice in the morning too)!
* Master Suite with luxury pillow-top queen bed, walk-in closet and large custom tiled bath featuring Jacuzzi tub with lake views, double sinks, and separate tiled shower.
* Upper Guest Room with luxury pillow-top queen bed and full bath.
* Laundry Room with full size washer & dryer and iron & ironing board.
Lake Level - take the Great Room stairs down to the Lake Level:
* Large Den with a fun nautical theme and another 42" Plasma TV, DVD player & stereo system (the kids can watch a movie here while the adults relax upstairs), plus a queen sleeper sofa - opens to the lake level Deck. This Deck catches cool breezes all day! With a pub table & lots of seating, it's a favorite hang out! Step off the deck to the grassy yard to enjoy the hammock - or head to the dock!
* Custom "Sports Bar" Game Room with foosball, dual basketball, wall-mount LCD TV, and bar; fun after a day on the water, or just about any other time!
* Colorful Bunk Room with two twin trundle beds sleeps a total of four; includes another TV, PS2 game system, DVD player, and a private full bath - the kids love it!
* Fourth Bedroom features fantastic lake views with another luxury pillow-top queen bed and large full bath.
The Dock
Follow the gently sloped, lighted path about 100 yards to our peaceful deep-water cove and private covered slip dock, complete with lights, electric & water (bring your tunes & sunscreen and spend the day)!
The quiet cove has little boat traffic and is the perfect place for the kids (and adults) to swim, kayak, fish and relax in the sun. Two kayaks plus air mattresses, water floats and life jackets provided! The angler can even enjoy fishing right from the dock. Don't let the word out, but plenty of bass & catfish have been caught here!
If you need a break from the fun and sun of the lake, the surrounding area has plenty to offer; golf at award-winning Cateechee Golf Club (or several other area courses), head to the mountains, enjoy tubing or white water rafting, hike to scenic waterfalls, go horseback riding or trout fishing, shop quaint antique stores or the outlet mall, even enjoy wine-tasting; all within about an hour of Hartwell Lake Escape!

Beautiful Lake Hartwell is one of the largest & most visited lakes in the southeast! Situated on the Georgia/South Carolina border, Hartwell offers visitors over 960 miles of shoreline and covers nearly 56,000 acres.
Hartwell is a premiere fishing destination and was the site of the prestigious 2008 Bassmaster Classic tournament. Fish for largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, bream or one of those record-breaking striped bass (a 59.6 lb striper set the record here in 2002). Ready to fish? We can help you arrange a boat rental at one of the nearby marinas or a professionally-guided fishing trip!
If watersports are your thing, Hartwell offers it all! Enjoy boating, water-skiing & wakeboarding, tubing, sailing, or jet-skiing in the sparkling waters - or drop anchor in a quiet cove for swimming, sunning & relaxing on sandy beaches!
