Whata View - Make your summer 2013 reservation now! in Keuka Lake

The name says it all! "Whata View" is appropriately named based on the first words expressed by most visitors. This quaint cottage is located at 830A on the east side of beautiful Keuka Lake on Rt. 54. We are about 8 miles from the village of Penn Yan and 10 miles from historic Hammondsport.

This 3 bedroom cottage offers 50 feet of level walk-in beach lakefront. A BRAND NEW dock was installed in the spring of 2008.  A full kitchen and dining area provides all of the amenities you might need. The large double living room with new carpet offers a spectacular view of Keuka Lake, as seen through large picture windows. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have been recently remodeled.  Our unique family room and 1 bedroom on the lower level offers even more space for our guests. A convenient new bathroom has recently been added in 2009 on the basement level.  Walk out the sliding glass door on the lower level and you are now under an open porch at lake level. This remodeled porch provides protection from rain or too much sun, and a perfect place to relax, read a book or snooze. From this porch/patio step out onto the level grass lawn or head directly to the water for some fun in the sun!  Take the paddle boat out for a ride or maybe you prefer to explore the lake in the canoe that is available for renters to use.
At night...bonfires on the beach! A traditional beach fire pit at water's edge, great for roasting marshmallows, telling ghost stories or just enjoying a romantic evening by the water.

*Parking for 2 cars beside the cottage. (extra parking at roadside)
*50 feet of level lakefront providing walk-in access including plenty of beach chairs, a charcoal & gas grill and picnic tables.
*Dock for boating and fishing (Please remember your water shoes!!)
*Very few steps which is ideal for both young children and "seniors"
* Air conditioning available for those HOT days!

Bedrooms: 3 Bedrooms~  bedrooms on main floor each have a double mattress, downstairs bedroom has a new queen mattress and also has set of bunk beds mostly suitable for teens/children.(bring your own linens)

Living Room: Flat Screen TV with cable, VCR/DVD, and plenty of seating. Also provided are books, cards, and board games for family fun.

Kitchen: Stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses/utensils.
(bring your own paper products, and drinking water)

Bathroom: Stand up shower on the lower level,1/2 bath upstairs (bring your own towels)

*We have baseboard electric heat for spring and fall rentals.
*Grocery Store and Deli within walking distance
*Lakeside Gas Station within 1/4 mile of cottage.
*The cottage has a “no pets” policy. Also, “no smoking” within the cottage

Keuka Lake is convenient to many of the Finger Lakes attractions. "Whata View" is situated smack in the heart of NYS Wine Country! Wineries, public golf course, Windmill Craft and Farm Market are all located within 6 miles. Many fine restaurants nearby. Movie theater, go karts, laundry facilities all located in village of Penn Yan. 

30 minutes to an hour away- Watkins Glen, Corning Glass Museum, and Outlet Mall.

Off-Season:

• May 1 -June 22,  Sept.(Labor day), Oct.,Nov.: $1000.00  a week                                        
•  Fall or Spring Weekend Get-Away OR Fishermen's Weekend: $450.00 

 (We have baseboard heat for spring and fall rentals.)

No weekend rentals during Peak Season.

Peak-Season: Starting June 23, 2013 and the months of July & August (until Labor Day) $2100.00 week

Check In: Sunday 3 p.m. Check out: Sunday 11 a.m.

A $400.00 security deposit will hold your reservation. Deposits received first will be given preference for dates. The security deposit is non-refundable if there is a cancellation, unless cottage is re-rented to another guest. Security deposits will be returned by mail within 7 days providing the cottage is left in a clean and neat condition and no damage has occurred.

Full payment in the amount of $2100.00 is expected 30 days prior to rental (no exceptions).  The security deposit of $400.00 is in addition to your rental amount and is refundable as mentioned above.
