4 Stars in Clare

The Heath family cottage otherwise known as 4 Stars is a charming, clean, and a close getaway
located on Perch Lake. The Cottage is a three bedroom lakefront cottage with 128 feet of private
sandy beach. It is a short 2 to 2.5 hour drive from the Detroit area. We are located just 12 miles
west from downtown Clare in Lake (not to be confused with Lake City). It is an all sports lake.
Perch lake provides excellent fishing for bass, perch, blue gill, and pan fish. It also has a nice
size deck that leads from the cabin down to the beach. There is a public boat launch with a dock to
park your boat (guest need to provide own boat). The cottage is fully furnished. Guests will need
to provide their own towels, food and drinks.

4 Stars offers a peaceful getaway from the everyday life. We do supply dishes, pots, glasses,
stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, 3 TV's, and a dvd with a variety of family
movies to choose from.

Outdoor activities for you to enjoy, 128 feet of private sandy beach, outdoor
fire pit on the beach, deck, dock to fish from, canoe, and gas barbecue grill. If you are looking to
relax and get up north without the 3-4 hour drive then look no further.

There is also much more to do while spending time at our cottage. Besides being located on all
sports Perch lake (fully functional in all seasons), there is sking, hunting, fishing, golfing,
tubing, and snowmobile trails.

Clare County offers more than 50,000 acres of state land and forest that gives the outdoor enthusiast a vast playground to enjoy nature at it's finest. Jays sports is a 15 minute drive for
any outdoor equipment needed. 

The Pere-Marquete Rail-Trail
A non-motorized, paved trail system. Perfect for walking and biking.
Pavement has been completed
from Clare to Midland. This trail is within 5 minutes from 4 Stars.

Soaring Eagle Casino located in Mt. Pleasant is a short 25 minute
drive from our cottage. For the golfers, there are three golf courses within 30 minutes from our cabin.

Downtown Clare offers all types of restaurants from fast food to elegant
dining. There are other types of shops from Yoders Amish store to Craft
and Antique's to local Flea Markets.

Lake, is centrally located for daily trips to
Michigans beautiful north country. Traverse City, Mackinaw, the Ausable and Muskegon rivers,the
Hartwick pines national forest, Grayling, and Gaylord will surely keep you busy

Weekly Rates $700.00 Saturday 3:00pm (Check in) to Saturday 10:00am (Check out).

 
Weekend Rates $400.00 Thursday 5:00pm (Check in) to Sunday 5:00pm (Check out), when available.

There will be a $250.00 security deposit required at time of agreed upon dates. Deposit will be
returned within 10 days after your stay if no damage and the cottage is left clean.

Children 14 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times when on the beach and
accompanied by adults. All guests at 4 STARS are required to wear life jackets at all times when
using any type of floatation device. Fires in the fire pit on the beach must be put out every night.
Adults must not leave children alone by the fire pit while it is in use at any time.
