Vacation Rental Description

The Heath family cottage otherwise known as 4 Stars is a charming, clean, and close getaway 
located on Perch Lake. The Cottage is a three bedroom lakefront cottage with 128 feet of private 
sandy beach. It is a short 2 to 2.5 hour drive from the Detroit area. We are located just 12 miles 
west from downtown Clare in Lake (not to be confused with Lake City). It is an all sports lake. 
Perch lake provides excellent fishing for bass, perch, blue gill, and pan fish. It also has a nice 
size deck that leads from the cabin down to the beach. There is a public boat launch with a dock to 
park your boat (guest need to provide own boat). The cottage is fully furnished. Guests will need 
to provide their own towels, food and drinks. Lake, is centrally located for daily trips to 
Michigans beautiful north country. Traverse City, Mackinaw, the Ausable and Muskegon rivers,the 
Hartwick pines national forest, Grayling, and Gaylord will surely keep you busy.

Vacation Rental Amenities

4 Stars offers a peaceful getaway from the everyday life.  We do supply dishes, pots, glasses, 
stove, refridgerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, 3 TV's, and a dvd with a variety of family 
movies to choose from. Outdoor activities for you to enjoy, 128 feet of private sandy beech, outdoor 
fire pit on the beech, deck, dock to fish from, canoe, and gas barbecue grill. If you are looking to 
relax and get up north without the 3-4 hour drive then look no further. 

Activities and Attractions

There is also much more to do while spending time at our cottage. Besides being located on an all 
sports Perch lake(fully functional in all seasons), there is sking, hunting, fishing, golfing, 
tubing,  and snomoblie trails. We are also located 10 minutes from the new Mountain Rock Music 
Fesitval stage in Farwell Michigan. Soaring Eagle Casino located in Mt. Pleasant is a short 25 minute
drive from our cottage. Downtown Clare offers all types of restaurants from fast food to elegant 
dining. State land is within minutes for all types of hunting. Jays sports is a 15 minute drive for 
any outdoor equipment needed. There are also other types of shops from Yoders Amish store to Craft 
and Antique to local Flea Markets.

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekly Rates $750.00 Saturday 3:00pm to Saturday 10:00am
Daily rates $150.00 
Weekend Rates $450.00 Thursday 12:00pm to Monday 12:00pm (when available)
There will be a $250.00 security deposit required at time of agreed upon dates. Deposit will be 
returned within 10 days after your stay if no damage and the cottage is left clean.
NON-SMOKERS 
NO PETS 
Children 14 and under are required to wear life jackets at all times when on the beach and 
accompanied by adults. All guests at 4 STARS are required to wear life jackets at all times when 
using any type of floatation device. Fires in the fire pit on the beach must be put out every night. 
Adults must not leave children alone by the fire pit while it is in use at any time.
