Lakes End Lodge in Saranac Lake

Lakes End Lodge is at the south end of historic Loon Lake, which is a private lake in the High Peaks of the New York State Adirondack Mountain Park.

Lakes End Lodge is a 2,400 square foot one level home situated directly on the waters edge at the end of Blue Spruce Drive next to 200 acres of untouched forest.  In 2004 after extensive interior renovations Greg and Debbie turned what was an un-kept, un-finished cabin into a beautiful four bedroom Adirondack style home.

The open plan living / dining room has a 35ft windowed wall along the lake with double glass doors opening to the covered porch.  The living room features a traditional floor to ceiling natural stone fireplace with knotty pine walls that lead to a vaulted lattice ceiling dining area that seats ten.

The kitchen looks beyond the dining area to the lake and has a dishwasher and microwave oven as well as a refrigerator, gas range and a large pantry.

The lakeside master bedroom offers a queen size bed and sitting area.

The First guest bedroom has double full size beds

The Second guest bedroom has a queen size bed, a wicker rocker and opens directly on to the screened porch

The children’s room contains a bunk bed.

All three of the “adult” bedrooms face the lake.  There is a stack washer dryer and all bedrooms have ample closets.

The bathroom near the guest bedrooms includes a stall shower as well as one of the two claw foot bathtubs.

Lakes End Lodge is located west of NYS Route 3 just 20 minutes north of Saranac Lake and 35 minutes from the Olympic Village of Lake Placid.  Both villages offer shopping, dining as well as proximity to famous Adirondack attractions such as the Ausable River, High Falls Gorge, Whiteface mountain, Keen Valley or the ski jump at the Olympic Village. 

If a major shopping source is the objective Plattsburgh and Lake Champlain are just 40 minutes north and feature a Lowes, Marshalls, Wal Mart in addition to a multiplex movie theatre, bowling lanes and multiple restaurants.

You could also hike, golf, horseback ride, rock climb or just relax . . . its all here if you so choose.

$2,200 per week in season from June 1, 2013 to October 12, 2013
Typical check in Saturday afternoon at 4PM - Typical check out Saturday morning by 10AM

Spring and Fall off season rates are available upon request.  We do not rent in the winter months.
