Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy the comfort, peace, and ease this country home has to offer. Centrally located at the southern  
base of the Ascutney Mountain, and within 2 miles of I-91 exit 8, all within 30 miles of Killington  
Mountain, Okemo Mountain, Ascutney Mountain, and Woodstock! 
  
Newly built and furnished, this home easily accommodates up to 6 people with 2 beautifully appointed  
rooms and 1 luxury suite. With rich country décor that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with  
hand crafted leather chairs and large stone fireplace.  
  
The living room offers casual comfortable setting, with oversized windows that gives the room  
brightness and to view the wildlife that frequent the acreage below. With TV, VCR/DVD player,  
CD/Cassette/Radio player, and wireless internet you’re able to enjoy comfortable seating beside a  
cozy fireplace while being in touch and entertained. Or if you prefer a more casual setting; the  
lower level is a game room where you’ll enjoy ping-pong, darts, or simply use the workout equipment.  
   
We have wasted no expense on amenities so you can feel at home when visiting. With luxurious cherry  
flooring, stone fireplace, leather recliners, plush beds, lavish linens, you’ll not want nor need to  
leave this comfortable retreat. 
  
Hammond House is a full service Vermont country home newly built in 2006.  The home includes; a  
choice of 1 entrée for up to 6 people for 3 of the 6 days you stay with us. The meals are fully  
prepared in advance for you for your convenience, simply heat and serve.

ordered gourmet meals from our Entrée / Appetizer list making Hammond House the only full-service  
private home rental in the area.  
 
Groceries, flowers, wine, liquor & gift shopping can also be taken care of for you. Imagine not  
having to waste time shopping while vacationing, just sit back and relax while watching wildlife  
graze in the back or star gaze at night on the deck.

Vacation Rental Rates

Each week includes 3 heat & serve dinners (serves 6) with each 6 night stay.  SEE ENTRÉE LIST FOR  
CHOICES. Check in time; Friday after 3 PM - Check out time; Thursday by 10 AM.  
 
State taxes of 9%. 
 
Parking 
2 parking spaces are available for all guests within the attached garage.  
 
Cancellation Policy 
All cancellations require a 30 day notice prior to date of stay. 
 
Credit Card Policy 
We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, via PayPal.  
Check-in and Checkout Times:  Check-in is at 4 p.m. local time.  As a consideration to arriving  
guests, please plan to vacate the home by 10 a.m. 
 
Damages to the home 
A complete inventory of all household items is updated prior to each stay to ensure everything is in  
perfect working order to guarantee a stress free stay with us.  Any damages to the house or  
belonging within it will be additional charges added to your bill for the replacement of items  
damaged during your stay. 
 
Pet Policy 
Pets are permitted with prior notification for an additional $200.00 with an additional surcharge of  
$50.00 for hair removal. No more than two cat/dogs allowed & must be house broken. Cats must be  
declawed. If any damages occur it falls under damage to home clause. 
 
Smoking Policy 
Smoking is not allowed inside the home. An ashtray is supplied for smokers and sits outside within  
the breezeway to the house. 
 
Phone/Cable/Internet Charges 
We supply local phone service, cable, and Internet for our renters, as well as a DVD & VHS player  
with a large selection of movies for your viewing pleasure. 
 
Property Loss & Electrical Outages 
We do not take responsibility for loss of personal property, or vehicles during your stay with us so  
be sure to lock your doors when you are not at the home. We are also not responsible for acts of  
nature, such as; electricity outages during your stay with us and therefore, will not issue money  
back if such an event should occur.
