Vacation Rental Description

This house is particularly colorful and interesting- not your ordinary rental. 
You wake in the cool (year round 65 degrees) temperature and lots of birds singing. Breakfast on the  
patio looking over to the Monte Verde mountains..a  dip in the pool as the temperature warms       
(80 degrees during the day)..lunch on the porch overlooking Lake Arenal.  
Have dinner either in the exotic dining room with a fabulous chandalier or by the wood burning  
fire.. then watch a movie from the house collection projected onto a pull down screen. Our personal  
guests can't wait until dinner is over so they can watch a movie.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Alarm system. 
Garage that opens into the house as well a gated extra parking space for 2 more cars. 
Charcoal BBQ, pool. 
Kitchen has a great view and is well equiped even for a serious cook. 
American washer and dryer. 
All linnens provided. 
Sound and movie systems as well as internet connection. 
Free call within Costa Rica- telephone cards available in town. 
Five minutes away is Nuevo Arenal. There are supermarkets, banks, movie rentals and reastaurants. 
Gingerbread Restaurant is top notch, take my word.

Activities and Attractions

Very nearby there is horseback riding, guided eco hikeing, and a great zip line ride. 
Lake Arenal has rainbow bass fishing and world class wind surfing. You can swim in the lake from the  
park in the town of Nuevo Arenal. Kayaks are available for rent. 
Arenal volcano is a safe 30 minutes away on a beautiful road that hugs the Northern coast of Lake  
Arenal. There you can relax in hot springs, hike to waterfalls, exprore caves or just have dinner  
with the active volcano as the show. It is super to watch. 
We also have a farm about 40 minutes away where you might want to swim in the river with waterfalls,  
explore the property (meet the monkeys maybe) and be off the beaten track. Just ask Ed Woods for

Vacation Rental Rates

$850.00 per week or $200.00 per day with a 3 day minimum. 
Holiday rates are: 12/20/08 through 1/3/09 $1,200.00 per week. 
We would like half payment to hold the reservation and full payment two weeks before arrival. 
There is a $500 security deposit required ( to replace the keys is over $300.00. 
If you must cancel, we will try to rebook and will then refund your deposit.
