The house was great with only a few flaws. The major one was that the master bedroom and bathroom deprived us of privacy by not having window coverings! It was very uncomfortable at times due to that. (Like when we wanted to use the bathroom and our teens were on the deck, able to look right in?! Not to mention the neighbors on their decks?!) The other thing that surprised us was how grimy the walls were in some places--a fresh coat of paint was needed pretty badly, as it appeared that some renters were not careful about keeping their hands off the walls. Having gotten the negatives out of the way, there was MUCH to love about the house--lots of comfortable seating, the bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, the house is restful in it's decor, plenty of pots and pans and dishes for our family of six--and the view was stupendous! We also liked the fact that we could walk easily straight to the beach, or out to the sound. The house is in a good location in terms of it being quiet too, as it's the last house on the street. We would definitely rent again--just hope they've chosen to put window coverings on the windows by that point.
