Vacation Rental Description

This charming 1950s cottage has remained in the same family for three generations.  It was recently 
upgraded.  It sits on a large wooded lot in the quiet Gilbert's addition portion of the Lake.  It 
features two bedrooms, one with a new king size bed and the other with bunk beds. There is additional 
sleeping for two in the living room.  The bathroom is large for a cottage and has a new shower. The 
cottage also has a laundry room with a new washer and dryer. There is lake access to Lake Michigan 
about 1/2 mile away at the outlet, and the cottage includes a private dock at the end of the road on 
Bass Lake. Take a boat/kayak ride down the Bass Lake channel all the way to Lake Michigan. Bass Lake 
cottage owners share exceptional Lake Michigan access at the outlet.  This is only a short walk from 
the cottage, or can be reached at the end of a short boat ride.  This is one of Michigan's finest 
beach locations on Lake Michigan.

Activities and Attractions

All the traditional up north activities can be enjoyed in the area.  Swimming, fishing, sight seeing, 
beach fires, bird watching to name a few.  Bass Lake is excellent for bass fishing and a wonderful lake 
for kayaking.  Local area has many tourist attractions including the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, charter 
boat fishing, and many seasonal fruit markets and u-pick farms.

Vacation Rental Rates

$850 per week in June,July,August and September ; $100 a night for two/Three/Four day weekends in   
spring and fall months when available. A two night minimum is required.   
A $400 dollar deposit to hold designated week must be received upon making the reservation.
