Unique Property

joebass (Carmel,IN)
Review submitted: July 20, 2011   Date of arrival: July 15, 2011

Unique property in a unique environment. The home's solitude provides a nice respite. Be prepared for the adventure of an outdoor shower, wild animals in the yard, and living somewhat "off the grid." Great access to the more remote southern section (Mineral King) of Sequoia National Park.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway

Absolutey Beautiful

gringagirl (Westminster, CA USA)
Review submitted: September 3, 2010   Date of arrival: August 7, 2010

This vacation home was exactly what our family of five needed. A pool for the kids, a well-equipped kitchen for mom, and a home theater for dad with plenty of dvd's and cd's for dad. The beds were very comfy and the bedding made us feel like we were at a four star hotel. The washer and dryer made our day trips to the lake more enjoyable as we didn't have to 'air out' our towels and swimwear.

Great Way to Experience Sequoia

moranne (los angeles, ca)
Review submitted: January 20, 2010   Date of arrival: January 15, 2010

Stayed here for three nights on a long weekend with 6 total guests. Wanted to all stay together and cook for ourselves. This was the best value I found and I'm so glad. The location is private and overlooks a beautiful river valley. We saw deer and little field mice from the deck. The house was just as described; very bright and clean, a modern and eco-friendly space. The kitchen was fully equipped (dishes, pots, pans, toaster, toaster oven, etc.), though we did bring our own kettle for hot water. It really had everything we could possibly need, even Benadryl.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, sight seeing, romantic getaway
