Juniper Tree Guest House in Crawford

The Juniper Tree Guest House is an original log cabin with a charming
new addition, nestled among juniper and pinion trees on four private
acres surrounded by 360 acres of farmland. This 1,400 sq. ft.
storybook cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, 2
baths and a great
room. The home is warmly furnished with homemade furniture, antiques
and original artwork. Dine on the covered patio "with a juniper tree
running through it" watching the sun set on an unobstructed view of
locally famous Needle Rock and the entire West Elk Wilderness mountain
range and the Gunnison National Forest.

Enjoy a truly relaxing and intimate atmosphere in this 1400 sq. ft.
darn cute cabin. Bed linens, towels and tea/coffee and a fully
equipped kitchen are provided.
There is a telephone and stereo. The local herd of deer and flock of
wild turkeys provide your viewing entertainment. Gas BBQ grill, air
conditioning, gas stove.

Incredible views from each window reflect mountain scenery and
abundant wildlife. Walk on four private acres, strolling down a
forested area to a small creek or just relax on the front sun porch in
a hammock or dine outside. Help yourself to the apple trees or see
the Golden Eagles and Peregrines nested on Needle Rock and the
Sandhill Cranes flying overhead.

This lovely guest house is only 1.5 miles from the quaintly rural town
of Crawford, Colorado at approx.7,000 ft. elevation. Nearby Hotchkiss
and Paonia are in the heart of wine country.

Unforgettable outdoor adventures at the north rim of the Black Canyon
National Park (10 miles away) and the West Elk Wilderness and Gunnison
National Forest (3 miles away) include fishing, hiking rafting,
boating, skiing. Crawford Reservoir State Park is 3 miles away.
