                   Come Experience the Tranquility of Keuka Lake.
Our 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home awaits your visit. Enjoy the beautiful lake views from the porch, patio or the lakeside yard. The 86 feet of shoreline with gradual entry is a great play area for children of all ages. A permanent "U" shaped dock with its own patio deck area and a rowboat are added outdoor features.
Porch tables and chairs along with Adirondack chairs and wicker furniture on the patio and a picnic table set the stage for memorable outdoor activities. Propane and charcoal grills are ready for those who enjoy outdoor cooking. The fire pit awaits an evening fire as your family enjoys the sun sets and remince about the day's activities.

The living and dining rooms face the lake from the main floor. A modern fully equipped kitchen features a dishwasher, microwave, small appliances and a wine refrigerator to hold all your favorite wines.  The second floor has 2 bedrooms and a conveniently located powder room. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second consists of 2 queen beds and 1 single bed. The master bedroom with a king bed and den are located on the main floor and each have  cable TV, DVD and VCR players. The living room and an upstairs bedroom have stereos. The main bathroom includes a full tub/shower. Central air conditioning serves the main floor. Propane, electric heat and a brick fireplace in the living room are available for those cool occasions. The home is served by the Town of Pulteney water system. Internet access is available for those that want to bring your laptop. A washer and dryer are located in the easily accessible basement.

What a Week!

We arrived just as the cleaning crew was finishing up from the previous renters. They did a wonderful job in leaving the home (I'll call it "home" because it was much more than a house) clean and in proper order for our familiar group.

It was wonderful to have the comforts of home at our fingertips... big table for meals, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc. All were in excellent working order. The neighbors were friendly.

A rowboat provided hours of fun for the little ones in our group, and for a few of the oldsters, too. We also enjoyed making S'Mores at the fire pit. (Ahh, family memories!)

Location was good, but there were times that it seemed like we drove for hours to get to Penn Yan or Hammondsport. Wineries were close by, as were potters. Check out Sommerville Pottery... beautiful items and friendly staff.

Because of the slope of the land, it may be hard for people with leg problems to get down to the water (we walked down to the water next to the house rather than taking the stairs.)

Stayed Last Year.

We stayed for a week last year. Owner called several times to inquire about who we had at the home. He questioned vacationer several times about visitors. We never violated anything in the vacation agreement and found the owner to be intrusive. Also this owner kept part of our security deposit becasue he was charged for us producing excessive garbage. We were stuck with the prior week vactioners garbage and the owner never called us to discuss why there was so much garbage. Also nowhere in the rental agreement was there any language about excessive garbage. We never had over night guests and produced the average amount of garbage as any family would have. The owner should have discussed this with us before keeping part of the security deposit.

Recommended for: age 55+

Owners response: Over the past eleven (11) years we have had over 100 renters, with about 1 in 5 being a repeater. One family is coming back for their 8th straight year. We continue to re-invest in our vacation home to make it even more enjoyable for next year's vacationers. Our renters have expectations and we are proud to have met and succeeded most of them over the years.
