Waterfront cabin on Lake Todd in Sunapee

Nestled on Lake Todd a 200 acre lake that supports three islands and
has great fishing, this charming cabin offers a quiet spot for families with
small children and for those that want to get away. Perfect for a summer vacation, Lake Todd is located in Newbury, New Hampshire - just seven miles from Mt. Sunapee which offers hiking and bike trails and it is about 30 miles to Monadnock State Park.

Mt. Kearsarge State Forest is about 15 miles away in the town of Warner and has a wonderful short hike from Rollins State Park with fantastic views on the way to the top, and if you find the weather tower open, you can see Vermont and the White Mountains. On the way to the park stop at the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum which has family activities and educational tours.

Travel time from Boston is about 1.5hrs and Manchester Airport, Manchester, NH is about 45 minutes away. Easy commute up rte 93N to rte 89N and take exit 9.

The cabin is waterfront and has it's own very private large beach with row-boat provided for going out to the islands. Master bedroom has one queen size bed and second bedroom has two twin beds – you supply your own linens and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and microwave. Newly finished wrap-around deck has great views of the lake. Barbecue and picnic
table are located on the beach.

Wireless Internet is available. The cabin has been recently renovated with new wood floor, carpeting and new bathroom.

Rowing, swimming, canoeing, hiking trails in the area on Mt. Sunapee,
Mt. Kearsarge, and Mt. Monadnock. Seven miles from Sunapee Harbor for
lake cruises and restaurants.

Take the Mt. Sunapee Ski Tram in the summer to see Lake Solitude, or hike several trails from Newbury that will take you to the top.

Visit The Fells, in Newbury just 7 miles away and enjoy the beautiful garden, take the walking trails to Lake Sunapee and see the historic house of John M. Jay, private secretary to President Lincoln.

Visit the cozy town of New London for shopping and fine dining and golf at Little Lake Sunapee!! Also check out summer theatre at the New London Barn Playhouse.

Visit Dartmouth College with its very fine Hood Museum of Art

Visit historic Concord, the state capital with it's beautiful State House crowned by a gold topped dome just 30 minutes away and while there visit the Canterbury Shaker Village.

Weekly rental is $900 plus 8% New Hampshire rooms and meals tax, weeks
run Saturday to Saturday.
