This is a historic, 200-year-old, Greek Revival house on the river
in the country. Located in Sheffield, antiques capital of
the Berkshires, five miles north of Conn. border, five miles south of
Great Barrington, Mass. Awake to the peaceful sounds of whispering pines, murmuring river and church bells.
Beautifully furnished, sunlit, antique-filled home with two good-sized bedrooms, one with queen-sized bed and other with twin beds. Small third bedroom has twin beds.
Two bathrooms, country kitchen, library, formal dining room, front
parlor. Fireplace for chilly nights. Sleeps six.
Additional pull-out couch.
Very well behaved pets considered.
Walking distance to Sheffield Center, Route 7 and NY bus. 40 minutes by car from MetroNorth rail in Wassaic.
Five miles south of Great Barrington.
2 ¼ hours from NYC by car; 2 ¾ hours from Boston.
