Great swimming with a "sandy bottom" Lakefront and Sauna! in Traverse City

This is a charming rustic cabin on Chandler Lake. A private drive along 900 feet of lakefront takes you to your cabin to enjoy the peace and quiet. Nice sandy area for swimming, large dock to fishing off of, a fishing boat with poles, and a kayak to boot! This is a very clean lake, but small. It's designed for swimming and fishing, NO MOTORBOATS OR JETSKI'S AREA ALLOWED ON THIS LAKE,
due to the noise level.

Interior:

The main cabin has a screened in porch, and is one level living! Three bedrooms include 2 bedrooms with queen beds in them, and 1 bedroom with a set of twin bunkbeds. Additional sleeping is made available on the sofa sleeper in the livingroom. The bathroom has a stand up shower, and includes linens. The main living features vaulted ceilings and cedar rafters throughout to add to the
charm. The cabin has a small galley kitchen, dining area with a table and chairs, and the livingroom is nice and cozy with a large stone fireplace, TV and VCR.

Exterior:

Beautiful views of the sunset in the evening to unwind from the day.  A seperate natural sauna with Lake Superior Rocks and a changing room is onsite as well to melt the stress away.  The dock has a bench on it and an area for lounging and fishing. An outdoor grill is also included for cooking the fresh fish that was caught earlier in the day.

On Golden Pond?

Chandler Lake is 5-10 minutes from Traverse City; which is a host of lots of activities. This area hosts many activities such as the Cherry Festival, art shows and galleries, wine tours and tasting, Sleeping Bear Dunes, parasailing, catamaran cruises, sailing charters, and all possible watercraft rentals, hiking, biking, Interlochen Arts Academy, casino's, fabulous dining on the water, and many unique shops to explore!
