"On Golden Pond" with sauna and a sandy bottom private lake! in Traverse City

This is a charming rustic cabin on Chandler Lake. A private drive along 900 feet of lakefront takes you to your cabin to enjoy the peace and quiet. Nice sandy area for swimming, large dock to fishing off of, and a row boat for fishing.  This is a very clean lake, but small. It's designed for swimming and fishing, NO MOTORBOATS OR JETSKI'S AREA ALLOWED ON THIS LAKE,
due to the noise level.

This home rents on a weekly basis from Sunday  - Sunday during peak summer weeks.

Interior:

The main cabin has a screened in porch, and is one level living! Three bedrooms include 2 bedrooms with queen beds in them, and 1 bedroom with a set of twin bunkbeds. Additional sleeping is made available on the sofa sleeper in the livingroom. The bathroom has a stand up shower, and includes linens. The main living features vaulted ceilings and cedar rafters throughout to add to the charm. The cabin has a small galley kitchen, dining area with a table and chairs, and the livingroom is nice and cozy with a  TV and VCR.

Exterior:

Beautiful views of the sunset in the evening to unwind from the day.  A seperate natural sauna with Lake Superior Rocks and a changing room is onsite as well to melt the stress away.  The dock has a bench on it and an area for lounging and fishing. An charcoal grill is also included for cooking the fresh fish that was caught earlier in the day.

Northern Michigan is the host to many fun activities within minutes! Explore the local fruit stands and art galleries, tour the wineries, visit Fish Town in Leland, run up (or down) the Sleeping Bear Dunes, play your luck at the casino`s and enjoy their entertainment, golf, fishing charters, arts and craft shows, the Downtown Film Festival, the National Cherry Festival, volleyball on the beach, tennis, shopping the unique shops, outstanding dining options, a nice variety of night life, The Olde Town Playhouse, many spa`s for complete relaxation, catamaran cruise line for afternoon as well as champagne cruises, wave runner rentals, parasailing, hiking trails, snorkeling and scuba diving, and beaches! What about a  performance at the widely acclaimed Interlochen Center for the Arts?

Here`s the kicker....you may walk to most of these activities from your condo (exeptions being the casino`s, golfing, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Fishtown). If you`re not much of a walker (after all, it is your vacation), please inquire about bike rentals.

August 19 - October 31, $450.00 2 nights, $1050.00 week
