Vacation Rental Description

Ellie's Ackley's Beach Place is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo at "The
Beach Place Condominium".  This is the last condo in Madeira Beach
before the bridge to Treasure Island.  We are a direct gulf front unit
and there is nothing between the condo and the beach and Gulf.  We are
across the street from the Village at Johns Pass; the premier shopping
and entertainment destination on this part of the Gulf coast. We sleep
six: a king bed in the master with a private sitting area and an
attached office. Three queen beds in the other bedrooms.  No Sleeper
sofa! We pride ourselves on providing good beds.    

We are the owners of the condo and the pictures are of our unit.  No
bait and switch from pretty pictures to a beat up and tired condo.  

Ellie is a very fussy owner.  The condo is and will be clean and
everything will work.

Vacation Rental Amenities

We provide first class amenities.  We have 2 parking spaces and a
washer and dryer in the condo.  We have a full kitchen with many extra
appliances.  We have installed an office off the master bedroom (Wi-Fi
for Internet) so the workaholic can be undisturbed.  Three TV sets;
two are new flat panel HD TV's.  Stereo and DVD/VHS player.  All
linens provided - with the exception of beach towels.  

To keep our condo fresh and clean, we restrict the number of guests to
6. We do not allow smoking or pets. 

Activities and Attractions

Our condo is located on the spectacular Madeira Beach next to John's
Pass. The Village at Johns Pass  has been improved, with many new
shops and restaurants.  Boating diversions include jet ski and boat
rentals, parasail trips, fishing charters, and a cruise ship with
gambling, dinner, and dancing. 

This is a very popular fishing area and you will almost always see
fishermen along the pass.

The absolute best thing is the beach and the Gulf.  Our water is warm
(mostly) and the waves are very gentle and child friendly.  We are one
of the very few resorts with a beach service and cabanas.

The sunsets here are spectacular as the sun sets over the Gulf.    

Our pool is large and is heated during the cooler months.  There are
tiki huts in the pool area for your enjoyment and we have about 50
chaise loungers for your quiet enjoyment.

Vacation Rental Rates

Our 2008/2009 rental rates are:

   September thru January                  $1000/week
        Christmas weeks                    $1400
   February thru April                     $1600
        Spring break weeks                 $1800
   May thru August                         $1250

We rent Saturday to Saturday.  Rates are for 6 people; additional
people are $50 per week.
Tax is 12% and the clean is $110. There are NO other fees. 

If you wish to reserve, ask for a contract and, if the unit is
available, we will send you a contract.

Reservations are confirmed after receipt of a $200
Security/Reservation deposit.  This is returned after departure
assuming a good report from our cleaners.
