A sanctuary away from city life is this spectacular waterfront lodge on Whidbey Island in Western Washington State. It has an eagles nest visible from the great room. The lodge overlooks Skagit Bay on Puget Sound, Mt Baker and the Cascade Mountain Range . There is a trail to your own private beach.   

LOCATION: This recently built luxurious waterfront lodge is on Whidbey Island’s north end. Soaring Eagle Lodge is just 15 minutes south of the Deception Pass Bridge, 1.5 hours from Seattle and 2 hours from the Vancouver Canada. 

THE PROPERTY is a 3,800 square foot lodge home. It is nestled on 2.7 acres of towering evergreen trees and 300 ft of waterfront bluff. We have a trail to our private beach. You can walk along the beach for miles, sit in the sun, beach comb or collect driftwood.

THE LODGE: This getaway is the perfect place for you and your guests. The lodge caters to those who enjoy luxury accommodations and modern conveniences.

EAGLES: The property takes its name from the majestic eagles which soar along our water’s edge. There is a clear view of our eagles nest from the great room and back yard. 

DAY TRIPS: There are numerous activities available on north Whidbey including kayaking, whale watching, boat tours, diving, hiking, golf, shopping and more. The lodge is centrally located to other quaint little towns such as Port Townsend, Anacortes, Langley, Coupeville and La Connor. You can take a day trip to the San Juan Islands, Vancouver BC, Victoria BC and Seattle.

We are 90 miles from Vancouver BC. The Express Ferry to Victoria, BC, Canada runs from approximately June 20 to Sept 20. A Passport is required.

Choose from three bedrooms offering "Sleep Number" King Beds(2), Queen Bed (1), a queen hide-a-bed.

Cable; 5 TVs; 2 DVD players; Video Library: over 200+ movies; WIFI; cable; jacuzzi tub in the master bath, plus a soaking tub in the guest bathroom, and outdoor hot tub under a covered porch. Yard games and indoor games. Close to local parks, swimming, movie theater, restaurants, kayaking and more.

Gourmet Kitchen:
2 convection ovens, 2 dishwashers, 2 microwaves, 2 sinks, 10 FT island, granite counters, wine cooler, cooking utensils provided,  ice maker, Oster kitchen center, Coffee Maker, Quaisanart Food Processor, 22" pancake grill, Belgium waffle maker, Slow Cooker, Colophon pots and pans, spices, instant hot water for tea, coffee or cooking, 5 sets of dishes, 2 sets of flatware, and wine glasses.

Outdoor Features:
Gas BBQ Grill with side burner , outoor fire pit, 2 covered decks and a patio on the ground level. Covered balcony off guest room on second floor , Adirondack chairs, wood lounge chairs, outdoor dining table and chairs.

View:
Waterfront, facing Skagit Bay on Puget Sound, Ika Island, Goat Island, Mt Baker and Cascade Mountain range. Private beach

Suitability:
No Pets Allowed. Not Suitable for unsupervised children because of the bluff.
Minimum Age Limit for Renters : 25. Not available for weddings, parties, receptions, graduations or similar events.

No Smoking in the lodge.Smoking allowed in designated outside area only. No candles or incents.

Handicapped Accessible:
Main floor and master bedroom are handicapped accessible. Toilet rooms and shower are not set up for handicapped accessible.

Holidays: $495/night, 4 night minimum

Summer: 2013

July and August : $3,100/week. I do not require specific check in dates which sometimes results in less than one week available.  Periods of less than one week are only available in their entirety at a rate of rate $495/night.

June and Sept: $450 with a 3 night minimum ; $2,900/week

Winter  2012/2013, not including Holidays:

2 night minimum: $395/night ; $2,300/week . April-19 to June 2 is booked.

Winter Special: 2012/2013, not including Holidays:

1. Stay 2 nights at $395/night and the 3rd night is 50% off
2. Stay 3 nights at $395/night and the 4th night is FREE!!

WA Tax and $150 cleaning fee are not included in above rates.

$500 Refundable Security/Damage Deposit and 50% of your rental is due within 7 days.

All payments are USA funds. Final payment is due 90 days from your visit. Pay bill by Check. Credit Card users pay the credit card company fees.

The lodge is NOT available for weddings, receptions, graduations, parties or similar events. 

No Cancellation unless 90 days advance notice, in writing.
