Vacation Rental Description
Originally called Maranatha Gardens, the property encompassed 11 acres overlooking the scenic
Daughtrey's Creek which was homesteaded by Jacob Daughtrey in 1878. The beautiful existing building
was built in the 1980's by John and Bertha Sepielli who were on a mission to have a personal
ministry. Their love and hardwork resulted in a beautiful garden, chapel, and miles of walkways
flagged with bible verses. Countless weddings and baptisms were held here over the almost 20 years
that the Sepiellis had the prayer gardens opened to the public.
The property was purchased by the current owners in 2005 and has undergone a series of renovations
which included redoing the home, the landscaping of the gardens, building a tropic pool/hot tub with
a waterfall, and cutting walking trails throughout the property. Currently, the property has walking
paths of over 30 acres. Guests also have use of Riverbend Golf and Riverclub (on a fee basis)which
can be reached from the gardens by golf cart.
Guests can enjoy complete privacy as the property is gated and has a security system. The main
house has a master bedroom and a small room with bunkbeds for children. Satellite television and
highspeed internet via Embarq are included. There is a guest cottage on the property which will
offers three additional bedrooms. If you have a large group, we have a total of 15 bedrooms
available.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Kayaking, basketball, hot tub, golfing at Riverbend Golf and Riverclub, workout room
available, golf cart usage available, additional security available, satelite, high speed internet.
Horseback riding and horse drawn carriages can be arranged with advance reservations.
Activities and Attractions
This property is available for reunions, parties, corporate retreats, weddings, bar mitvahs,
birthdays, nature hikes, and kayaking events.
Vacation Rental Rates
The main house on the property is available for a minimum of $850 for an overnight rental by two
guests. Rental of the main house and the 3 bedroom guest house (sleep up to 8) is available
beginning July 1, 2008 and the rate for the entire property is $1250 per night. There is a two night
minimum stay. Golf cart rental is available for a nominal fee.
This is the perfect place to hold a wedding and spend your wedding night. You can also rent one of
three different venues on the property for an event of up to 4 hours for larger groups for rehearsal
dinners, bar mitzvahs, reunions, and other events. The rate for groups of up to 25 is $1000 for use
of the property up to 4 hours.
The weekly rate for the main house for a vacation is $5000 per week. The main house is one bedroom
with a small bunkbed room for children. Maximum occupancy is 4 people in the main house. The
weekly rental rate for the entire property (main house and guest house is $7500 per week.
Ask about additional charges for insurance, catering, tent and equipment rentals etc.
The owner has 5 other furnished properties that are within golf cart distance of the main house and
can be rented for large groups overnight or weekly at very reasonable rates.
The Riverbend Golf Course nearby is also available in conjunction with this bed and breakfast and
can be rented for the day for a bachelor party golf tournament, retreat, etc. Ask us for
