Cozy cottage nestled amidst majestic redwoods in Carmel

This cottage is situated on a sunny five acres gated estate in Carmel's mid-Valley, just outside Carmel, in a serene setting of majestic redwoods, white oaks and a bubbling seasonal creek.

The cottage is cozy, has high ceilings and large windows that open to the oak forest around. 

You will wake up to the songs of birds and wildlife all around: foxes,
deer, condors. Hike with a book to the top of the hill for panoramic
views and some quiet time.

Enjoy an easy drive to downtown Carmel, rustic Carmel Valley, Big Sur or the spectacular Pacific coast.

About the cottage

The octagonally shaped guest cottage has a Queen-size bed, a nice size closet, a full bath with a bathtub and a kitchenette with a coffee-maker, refrigerator and a microwave. Tall ceilings and windows all around create a light and airy feeling. The guest cottage has its own deck and its own patio with a birdfeeder and a birdbath.

Indoors: TV, DVD Player, CD player, free high-speed wireless Internet wireless, a library.
Kitchen: microwave, refrigerator, coffee-maker, silverware, glasses, dinnerware.
Linens and towels are provided and are replaced weekly for stays of 14 days and over.

The area is rich in activities: riding, hiking, biking, golf, tennis,
art, wine-tasting, excellent food and so much more.
Garland park with excellent hiking, as well as numerous other parks
are close by.
If you are more adventurous, try the week-long back-packing trips
offered in the Tassajara area.
Excellent biking everywhere on the country roads.
Nearby Carmel Valley Ranch and Quail Lodge offer Peter-Hay designed
golf courses, and some of the finest restaurants in the area.
Carmel Valley Athletic club has excellent tennis courts and private
lessons, as well as a swimming pool, aerobics, tennis and
opportunities for a workout in spectacular setting.
Excellent horseback riding in many equestrian centers around, most
notably Stonepine, Holman Ranch and the European Horse Center.
The area is famous for its wine-tasting and some of the best wineries
are located near-by: Bernardus, Chateau Julien, Talbotts and Georis.
Excellent restaurants famous for their exquisite coastal cuisine are
located within an easy drive either to Carmel Valley Village or to
Carmel.
For a rustic experience, visit Carmel Valley Village, only 15 minutes
away.
For a true organic experience, visit the Earthbound Farm with their
organic stand and fields of organic produce stretching along the road.
