Endor: Contemporary house & cottage, majestic redwoods. in Carmel

Endor is situated on a sunny five acres in mid-Valley, just outside Carmel, in a serene setting of majestic redwoods, white oaks and a bubbling seasonal
creek. There is a contemporary custom-built 3bdr/2ba two-level home
and a 1bdr/1ba guest cottage, a miniature replica of the house. Both
house and guest cottage are bright, with high ceilings, lots of
windows and are filled with art.
You will wake up to the songs of birds and wildlife all around: foxes,
deer, condors. Hike with a book to the top of the hill for panoramic
views and some quiet time. Host intimate dinners or parties in the
great room. Easy drive to downtown Carmel, rustic Carmel Valley, Big
Sur or the spectacular Pacific coast.

About the house
=================
The house is centered around a great room with a stone fireplace, tall
ceilings and panoramic windows that open up to a wraparound slate deck
with a BBQ and an entertaining area.
Dining area with a wrought-iron table and matching chairs can
accommodate small intimate gatherings or large parties.
A large flat-panel TV with satellite service, CD and DVD player
complete a cozy sitting area around the fireplace.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances.
In the spacious master suite, a Jacuzzi bath looks out to the trees. The
bedroom has a CA King bed and opens to a private deck overlooking the
scenery.
A second two-level suite can be completely closed off for privacy.
It has a very spacious master bedroom upstairs with tall ceilings and
a CA King bed. The downstairs room has a Queen bed, large closet and
opens on its own deck. The two bedrooms share a full bath with a
shower and a bathtub.

About the guest cottage
=======================
A miniature replica of the house, the octagonally shaped guest cottage
has a Queen-size bed, a closet, a full bath with a bathtub and a
kitchenette. Tall ceilings and windows all around create a light and
airy feeling. The guest cottage has its own deck.

Outdoors: Massive gated entrance with two stone pillars, outdoors
entertaining area with a gas BBQ, slate deck around the house, wooden
deck around the guest cottage.
Indoors: Flat-screen TV, Satellite TV in every room, DVD Player, CD
player, high-speed Internet and wireless throughout, Fireplace,
Jacuzzi, Telephone, Washer/dryer, 2-car garage.
Fully equipped kitchen: stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher,
coffee-maker, silverware, glasses, dinnerware, and more.
Linens and towels are provided.

This area is rich in activities: riding, hiking, biking, golf, tennis,
art, wine-tasting, excellent food and so much more.
Garland park with excellent hiking, as well as numerous other parks
are close by.
If you are more adventurous, try the week-long back-packing trips
offered in the Tassajara area.
Excellent biking everywhere on the country roads.
Nearby Carmel Valley Ranch and Quail Lodge offer Peter-Hay designed
golf courses, and some of the finest restaurants in the area.
Carmel Valley Athletic club has excellent tennis courts and private
lessons, as well as a swimming pool, aerobics, tennis and
opportunities for a workout in spectacular setting.
Excellent horseback riding in many equestrian centers around, most
notably Stonepine, Holman Ranch and the European Horse Center.
The area is famous for its wine-tasting and some of the best wineries
are located near-by: Bernardus, Chateau Julien, Talbotts and Georis.
Excellent restaurants famous for their exquisite coastal cuisine are
located within an easy drive either to Carmel Valley Village or to
Carmel.
For a rustic experience, visit Carmel Valley Village, only 15 minutes
away.
For a true organic experience, visit the Earthbound Farm with their
organic stand and fields of organic produce stretching along the road.
