Vacation Rental Description

Your place in the mountains when you just want to get away, 175 acres surrounded by nature’s beauty 
and cool mountain air.  Experience peace and solitude with adventure in this very diverse region of 
Colorado, a delightful destination for a long weekend or longer.

Located fifteen miles north of La Veta and ten miles from Hwy 25, this very well built cabin is 
furnished with a queen size bed on the main level and two double beds located in the above loft.   
The spacious kitchen is complete with dishes, soaps, basic staples, coffee, teas ,cocoa, coffee 
maker, gas range, microwave, and refridgerator. 

This property has lots of wildlife, and nearby fishing and hunting. Visit the Sand Dunes National 
Park, the picturesque towns of LaVeta and Cuchara, Taos and  Santa Fe, New Mexico are one and a half 
and two and a half hours from the cabin.  Great snow skiing is 90 miles away in Taos or 2 hours to 
Wolf Creek. 

No smoking in the entire cabin or risk losing your deposit
Must be 25 years old unless accompanied by an adult

Vacation Rental Amenities

40 acres fenced for horses with spring fed water
Loafing shed for up to three horses
Dogs welcome, large enclosed kennel on property next to cabin

Activities and Attractions

Golf, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, rafting, sight seeing and skiing in the winter.

Vacation Rental Rates

Daily rates: $175 per night 3 night minimum double occupancy, rates do not include 9.4% tax. 
Weekly rate: $1050 
Monthly rate: $3300
Once a week housekeeping fee, supplies delivered  $150

Deposit:
A $500 deposit is required. The deposit can be Personal Checks,Wire Transfer,Money Order,Cashier 
Check,Visa/MasterCard (2.9% fee), credit cards will be processed when the card number is given.

Cancellation: 
Reservations may be cancelled, or stays shortened, up to 14 days prior to arrival; cancellations or 
shortened stays will be charged if made within 14 days of check-in.
