Vacation Rental Description

Magnificent views in all directions.  Private road, quiet 
neighborhood. Sits on four acres.  Just fifteen minutes to downtown 
Taos.  Located a five minute walk through the trees from the Stakeout 
Restaurant, one of Taos' most famous eateries.  Three bedrooms, two 
with queen beds and one with children's bunk bed (lower unit is adult 
size).  Also sleeps two on pull out couch if needed.  AVAILABLE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF AUGUST

Vacation Rental Amenities

Fully equipped kitchen, large screen TV with Direct TV satellite 
service, outdoor dining to take in the views, lots of glass (passive 
solar house) to enjoy the many birds nesting and feeding around the 
house, very private and quiet, spectacular sunsets, wood stove.

Activities and Attractions

Just about every outdoor activity imaginable is within minutes, at 
most an hour, from Taos.  This includes hiking, backpacking in the 
Pecos Wilderness, whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning, hot springs 
soaking, road and mountain biking, fishing, etc...  We're only ten 
minutes to the golf course and fifteen minutes to downtown and the 
plaza.  Biking and hiking can be done right from the house.  Our home 
has been used repeatedly in the summers by painters, as it's a 
terrific location to sit outside and paint the landscapes of the Rio 
Grande Gorge and Sangre de Cristos Mountains.  The home is actually 
situated on what is officially known as 'Robber's Roost', as the bad 
guys (including Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) used this site to 
see the dust trails of posse's chasing them from far away.  You can 
literally see a variety of terrain up to eighty miles away.

$950/wk.
