Vacation Rental Description

Your house on the lake is a one level ranch style home. It sleeps 4 
and has 2 Bedrooms (1 king, 1  
queen), approximately 1000 sqft., front load washer & dryer, large 
kitchen (cooking utensils  
provided), refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric range, 
under-counter TV with cd & dvd  
player. Living Room amenities: leather reclining coach, TV, stereo, & 
DVD player and large sliders to deck. For additional outside 
entertainment walk out the sliding glass door off the living  
room/kitchen and enjoy the huge 30 x 10 deck with table, umbrella, 
chairs/lounges, and gas grill. A  
few steps down brings you to the backyard with private beach and dock. 
Bring your boat, Jet Ski, or  
sail boat and tie up at your house on the lake.  Book early don't 
wait! You'll be glad you did.  
 
Suitability: Pets may be ok ask, not handicapped accessible, not 
suitable for small children, smoking NOT allowed inside house (if you 
smoke bring an ashtray for outside please).

There is a fresh produce stand about 3/4 mile west. Grocery stores 
about 2.5 miles, bank 3/4 mile,  
post office 1/8 mile, convenience store 2 miles, shopping center 15 
minutes in Sturbridge (Wal-Mart,  
gap, famous footwear, Uno's, Staples, Applebeas, Stop and Shop, 
Maurice’s, Bath and Body, EB Games,  
Verizon...). 12 minutes to MaPike.

Activities and Attractions

Fishing:  Lake Lashaway offers good fishing for many warm water fish. 
A survey conducted in 1994  
showed thirteen species including Large and Small-mouth Bass, Chain 
Pickerel, Yellow Perch, White  
Perch, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, Brown and Yellow 
Bullhead, Golden Shiner, and Sucker.  
The lake was stocked with Northern Pike in the past. 
 
Boating: There is a boat ramp on the North Side of the lake for you to 
put your boat or jet ski in.  
We have a dock at the house to moor at.  We also have 3 kayaks and a 
canoe for your use. 
 
Waterskiing:  Lake Lashaway is a full recreational lake so 
wakeboarding, Waterskiing, jet skiing are  
all ok. 
  
Sailing:  Every Sunday the sailboats are out and they have races. You 
have to be a member of the sail club, but you put your boat out and 
enjoy the show. 
 
Swimming: Swim right in the backyard from our private beach. 
 
Brimfield Antique & Collectibles Show: 2008 Dates are May 13-18th, 
July 8th-13th, & September 2-7th. 
 
Volleyball: There is a sand volleyball court at the town beach. 
 
Restaurants: Lashaway Inn (4 houses up), Trolley Stop (next door), 
Pizza parlor (across street) all  
within walking distance.  
 
Bar/Pub: Frank's Pub (across the street) has Jazz bands on Sundays. 
Lashaway Inn (4 houses up)  also  
has music on there outside waterfront deck on Sundays. Both within 
walking distance. 
 
Our house on the lake is located just: 
17 minutes from Old Sturbridge Village 
25 minutes to Brimfield Antique Markets 
12 miles from Worcester 
3 1/2 hours from New York City 
1 hour from Boston. 
 
Bogey Lanes = Bowling, miniature golf & walk up ice cream stand: 
approximately 0.8 miles 
 
Bay Path Golf Course - 9 hole golf course (193 N. Brookfield Rd): $20 
fees approximately 0.8 miles 
 
Fourth of July parade and fireworks. If you rent the fourth of July 
week the lake is full of people  
all enjoy the festivities. There is a parade in the morning and 
activities all day long at Connie  
Mack Field just down the street and at night you have a superb view of 
the fireworks from the yard or go out on your boat to view them from 
the water.

Vacation Rental Rates

7 days minimum $875 per week. Extra days $150 per day.  
Holiday weeks $1100 per week.   
Weekend option (Friday - Sunday) $500.  
Sleeps 5 additional people $150 extra per person. 
Additional cleaning fee $75.
