Aloha!
Mahinani's offers a unique experience for visitors to Kauai.
An opportunity to enjoy life on a Native Hawaiian Farm away from
developments and the public.
As a member of the Hawaii Agri-tourism Association we extend a warm
invitation to come accept our Hawaiian hospitality.
Located on the East Shore about 20 minutes from the airport.
Our long private driveway leads to 2 charming cottages which sit up on
a bluff over-looking the ocean with the mountains as a backdrop.
These cottages are separate and a good distance apart for complete
privacy.
Quaint and cozy...both cottages are filled with paintings by Maui
Island Artist Rosamond Prince (Diana's mother).
For guest' who love nature and want to experience the simple island
lifestyle of times past.

One Bedroom Cottage:
Sleeps 1-2
One of the outstanding features is being able to watch the sunrise off
the ocean horizon from bed.
It also has a large spacious private lawn with a hammock to enjoy both
mountain and ocean
views, listen to the waves rolling in and birds singing.
The covered Lanai is a great place to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine.

Two Bedroom Cottage:
Sleeps 1-6
The outstanding feature of this cottage is the kitchen. Its large
sliding glass doors open unto the deck...transforming it into the
ultimate indoor-outdoor dining experience. Many of our guest' say its
the best kitchen they have ever been in. I think its because it was
designed for garden and bird viewing to fully capture the surrounding
beauty.
Its also nice that from the 2 bdrm cottage you can't see any other
houses. Its like being in your own private park.
Both Cottages come with the following:
Fully equipped kitchens and laundry rooms.
Linens, bath towels
TV w/DVD players for movies only.
Radio/CD/tape player.
Books
DSL box for high-speed internet upon request.
Telephone for local calls
Beach Towels, beach chairs, cooler
Soaps & paper products
Hair dryer

Beach:
Its a short pleasant walk down a shady little road to beautiful
Anahola Beach & River.
A moon shaped bay with miles of white sand beach and shady trees.
Different parts of the Bay are great for swimming, snorkeling, surfing
& babies.
The River that runs into the Bay is pretty to look at and fun to kayak.
Store:
Its a short walk or drive to "Whalers General Store" where you can
rent movies, get the newspaper or any other goodies you might need.
Next to the store is the very popular "Ono Char Burger" stand.
Spa:
Steps away from our farm is world renown "Auntie Angeline's
Mu'olaulani Spa".
An aboriginal Hawaiian practitioner of Traditional Hawaiian Wellness
Treatments that include purifying steam, rejuvenating full-body scrubs
using therapeutic Hawaiian Alae, Sea Salt, and Coconut Oil to
ex-foliate, cleanse and detoxify the body.

One Bedroom Cottage:

1-2 persons, $139.00 per night
1-3 persons, $150.00 per night

Plus 4% Excise Tax and 7.25% Transient Accommodations Tax

Security Deposit: $200.00 due within 1 week of reservation.

Standard Cleaning Fee: $100.00 deducted from deposit, remainder refunded by mail.

Two Bedroom Cottage:
1-4 persons, $250.00 per night

Plus 4% General Excise Tax & 7.25% Transient Accommodations Tax

Optional bungalow sleeps an additional 1-2 persons.
Each additional person, $10.00 per night

Security Deposit: $300.00 due within 1 week of reservation

Standard Cleaning Fee:
$125.00 for 2 bdrm only.
$150.00 for 2 bdrm w/bungalow.
To be deducted from Security Deposit and the remainder refunded by mail.
