A slice of the Big Apple in upstate NY...Hudson is a thriving city with all the best that NYC has to offer, yet without the hustle and bustle. Hudson is the best location to hang your hat if you enjoy all that the Hudson Valley has to offer in biking, hiking, antiquing, galleries, dining and more.
We are 30 minutes to great skiing/hiking/biking in the Catskill and Berkshire mountains. 30 minutes to Bard College and the cities of Red Hook/Rhinebeck...and 45 minutes to Stockbridge & Lennox Mass.
This modern renovation of a 1940's Sears & Roebuck home is a second
floor unit of a duplex and is fully furnished, with open living space
and all hardwood floors and natural stone. Furnished with an eclectic
mix of modern and antique furniture, it has a great cooks kitchen
complete with granite counter-tops, stainless steel fridge, and a
Jenn-air grill top w/dual fuel stove.
Completely fenced in yard with deck, herb garden and flower beds (seasonal), it's only a one minute drive to Hudson's Warren Street...or a 10 minute walk along N6th to Warren Street. A 5 minute walk will provide access to public tennis courts, a track, and a public lake/pond for swimming in summer (Oakwood).
Perfect location and access to all that the Hudson Valley, Catskills,
and Berkshire Mountains have to offer.
Have your own privacy, and the ability to share the space with
family/friends...it's a great economical option for your getaway. Rent
for a weekend, week, month or season.

Reviews:
August 2008: "My wife and I spent a week in Kerri's place and from
the first email to our last day, Kerri was incredibly friendly,
helpful and easy to do business with. The apartment has been
completely updated, tripped out and beautifully decorated. What you
see in the pictures is everything you get plus more. The king-size bed
has a wonderfully comfortable pillow top mattress and the designer
bedroom and bathroom linens are plush. The back yard is completely
fenced and private and was perfect for our dog. It was also a pleasure
to be able to sit out in comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy the
flowers while we cooked on the grill. Hudson is a charming village and
close to other quaint towns. It is also very convenient for taking the
train into New York City. If you are considering staying in the Hudson
Valley, you will not be disappointed with these accommodations."

I'm originally an easterner, reluctantly living out in the arid west, and so one of the things that I appreciated about this second floor space is the leafy, tree house feeling. There are windows all around, which we left open much of the time, to get a very nice cross breeze. The place is also pleasingly decorated, with a tasteful mix of contemporary and rustic, very comfortable (especially the king-sized bed) and surprisingly spacious. My husband, our two year old twin sons, and I were very happy here.
