Spoonwood Cottage is a unique home nestled on two park-like acres. It was built in 1940 and
fashioned in the mission style of a Frank Lloyd Wright home. It is situated atop the mountain among
stone paths, mature trees, and wildlife. It got it's name from the trees called Mountain Laurels.
The local indians renamed them "Spoonwoods" because they would use the large leaves as a spoon.
This house is ideal for families and/or a group of friends. It is also a lovely setting for a
wedding or small outdoor celebration. NON SMOKING HOUSE

The home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It comes complete with bed linens, bath and jacuzzi
towels, blow dryers, fully stocked kitchen with spices, 4 tv's, 2 with direct satelite, 2 vhs
and 2 dvd players, large library of movies and music cd's and tapes, puzzles and games, horse-shoes
and croquet, a woodburning fireplace with heater insert and logs, washer & dryer, 1000+ sq. ft.
porch with ample seating and tables, a grill w/charcoal and lighter fluid, and a bonfire
area overlooking the mountainside.
There is an eat-in kitchen w/table and chairs, and a 650 sq. ft. living area with another
dining table, game table, 2 couches and 3 chairs in front of the fireplace and tv. A mud room for
ski equipment or bicycles, and oodles of parking space. NON SMOKING HOUSE

Activities and Attractions
Skiing, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, natural waterslide and waterfall, swimming, tubing,
hiking, golfing, bicycle trails, rock climbing, atv trails, sporting clays, and
many more outside activities.
There are also several wonderful local restaurants, the State Theatre, antiquing, the Woodland Zoo,
and a nearby mall. Sight seeing highlights include Frank Lloyd Wright homes, Fallingwaters and
Kentuck Knob, Fort Neccesity, and the Christian Clay winery.
It's a 10 minute or less drive to chain grocery stores, liquor/beer stores, churches, movie
theatres, bowling, the hospital, YMCA, beauty salons, and a day spa.

WEEKDAYS: $250 per night (2 night minimum) ($50 Per night Refundable Security Deposit)
WEEKENDS: $295 per night (2 night minimum) ($50 Per night Refundable Security Deposit)
WEEKLY: $1400 per week ($300 Refundable Security Deposit)
THANKSGIVING GETAWAY: $1200 Includes 4 Nights
CHRISTMAS GETAWAY: $1200 Includes 4 Nights
NEW YEARS GETAWAY: $1200 Includes 4 Nights
$300.00 Deposit must be received before any reservation is confirmed.
Balance due 1 month prior to arrival date.
Full refund of deposit for cancellations made 1 month prior to arrival date.
No refund for cancellations made less than 1 month prior to arrival date.
REFUNDABLE Security Deposit due 1 month prior to arrival date.
A pet is welcome ONLY if it is fairly small, house trained, and doesn't chew on anything but their
