Relax in this Beautiful Chalet in Arrowhead Lake

Furnished chalet available for those people who like a peaceful,
wooded atmosphere. Two lakes for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Nearby are two heated pools, tennis courts, and playground. Great
place for walking and biking. Only 10 miles to skiing and tubing.
Nice deck for eating and relaxing under the shade trees. Great
enclosed porch. Sleeps 4 - 7. Two bedrooms with double beds on the
main floor. Living room contains a sofa bed plus a wood burning
fireplace. Comfortable loft has twin beds and foton. Televisions and
radios on both levels. DVD in loft and VHS on main level.
Kitchen has refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster oven, microwave,
coffee maker, and dining table. Gas grill and tables are on the front
deck. Cooking utensils, pots, pans, flatware, dishes, and glasses are
already there. All you need to bring are sheets, pillow cases,
towels, and wash cloths (unless you are flying commercially - then we
will make other arrangements). Don't forget your camera.
No pets and no indoor smoking.

Two lakes with 4 beaches (life guarded) that have playgrounds and
picnic areas. Boating and fishing.
Three heated pools (life guarded) that also have playgrounds and
picnic areas.
Seven tennis courts.
Welcome Center with fitness center, computers, library, pool table,
ping pong table, and large TV.
Snow skiing and snow tubing are within 10 miles at Jack Frost or Big
Boulder. One ticket covers both mountains.
Nearby are restaurants, delicatessen, ice cream, miniature golf, golf
driving range, arcade, NASCAR race track, harness racing, and
gambling.

Many scheduled activities (e.g. bingo, bonfires, dances). Pick up a
calendar at the Welcome Center.

2009 Summer Events

The pools and beaches will open on weekends on Saturday, May 23 and will open full time on Saturday, June 20. Choctaw pool will not open until June 20. Facility hours are 11 am - 7 pm (weather permitting).

Day camp will begin on Monday, June 29 and runs through Wednesday, August 12. Camp will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 am until 3:30 pm this year. Cost is $16 per day or $30 for both days in one week. Availability is limited.

Bonfires and Music on the Beach are scheduled for 6/27 (Beach 2), 8/1 (Beach 2), and 9/5 (Island) from 6 pm until 11 pm. Entertainment provided 7-11 pm. The bonfire will begin at dusk.

The carnival will run from Thursday, July 2 through Sunday, 7/5 at the Island Grounds. The fireworks display will be held on Saturday, 7/4. Family Nights will be held on Friday and Saturday from 7-11 pm. Cost is $15 per person to ride all rides on Family Nights! Hours of the Carnival: Thursday 5-11 pm, Friday/Saturday 4-11 pm, and Sunday noon-5 pm.
