Great Ocean View 3 bedroom 2 bath steps from the sand in Manhattan Beach

We had a great time meeting my family at this beautiful location. Right on the Strand as advertised. Parking is a little tight but that is expected in these beach locations where space is at a premium. Wish Roy would furnish bikes like some of the other rentals, we had to rent two for the week at an additional $175. Nice furnishings with very functional kitchen that has everything you need except the food. I have to say it was one of the best weeks of my life with family, running and biking on the strand then body surfing and boogie boarding in the afternoon. I have already made reservations for another week in May. Compared to some other rentals, it is a very good value, you won't be disappointed.

Pretty much perfection!

I could not have been happier with my experience at this beach house. Roy (Manager/Owner) was at the property when I arrived and he was very pleasant and showed me around. The house is great, the patio is PERFECT. We sat on that patio, BBQing and relaxing all day. At night, we watched sports in HD on the big screen. Great view of the ocean, great patio, great BBQ grill and great big screen. What else can you ask for?

Awesome place, awesome view, awesome price

We had a party of 8, 2 seniors, 3 adults and 3 children. Wow. View of ocean is phenomenal for the price. Thoroughly mesmerized us. We couldn't get enough of it! Nice big kitchen, large fridge, gas stove, lots of counterspace. Bedrooms were a bit tight for the big beds, but when one stays at a beach house, you don't want to spend all day in the bedroom do you? Well stocked with towels and blankets. Large patio was terrific to take in all the view and soak in the SoCal lifestyle.

Downside is the really narrow and tight garage and goofy outside garage door opener. Never mastered how to use it, even after the owner, Roy, showed up to make sure things were ok and tried to teach me how to use it. My brother-in-law rented a Chevy Suburban and I had a 4Runner. We had a good time playing SUV shuffle while tandem parking :(

Location was really convenient. Close to Fwy 105 and 405. Pacific Coast Hwy was also there, so we could travel along the beach cities and catch a constant view of ocean. Lots of shopping places all over, and terrific hole-in-the-walls, especially El Tarasco mexican joint down the main drag. Whole family was very satisfied with our choice of rental and we are planning to use this very place again.

Roy, the owner, was very easy to reach and very flexible and efficient with modes of payment. He helped in making it a very stress free vacation. Thanks Roy, from all of us!
