Villa Talludden is a beautiful Carl Larsson-style house, stunningly situated on a secluded tounge of
land, overlooking the inlet to Stockholm. The house was built in 1913 by Gustaf Lindgren, one of
Swedens most well-known architects, as his own summer house. It has recently been totally but
carefully restored, and has been featured in several interior magazines. The house has large private
grounds, with garden and parklands, and a long stretch of private waterfront. The garden and the
house offers complete privacy. The bottom floor consists of living room, dining room, study and a
large kitchen. The second floor has a large library/TV-room, three bedrooms and a large bathroom,
overlooking the garden. From six out of seven rooms you have a stunning sea view.
The house lies just outside the old little town of Vaxholm, which has a variety of restaurants,
shops and cafés. Stockholm is just 35 minutes drive, or why not take the regular boat service right
in to the City. You can choose between speedboats or an old steamer. One of Stockholms finest golf
courses is just five minutes away, next to the medieval castle of Bogesund. There is also stable for
horse back riding.by the castle. And the walking paths in the huge forest of Bogesund are considered
to be some of the finest in the whole region.
