The “Pink Cottage” is a quaint, artistically decorated 
craftsman-style cottage built in 1938.  
It's located on a tiny, private, tree-lined street  
in beautiful Travis Heights, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Austin. 
 
You'll be staying on a secret street across from 
the last, oldest undeveloped private chunk of land in Travis Heights.  
 
This location is magic.  
 
You're in the  heart of the city and the center of all music 
festivals, 10K runs 
and world-famous clubs, yet feel as if you're staying in your own 
secluded park.  
Wake up to the smell of jasmine and the sound of birds, then stroll 
out your front door 
and in a minute you're on South Congress Avenue(known as SoCo,) the main 
connecting artery and true heart of every fun thing that happens in 
Austin. 
 
You'll find two guitars, so feel free to play them to your hearts 
content.  
The cottage is also filled with books so  
replace the one you read on the plane.  
 
 
   
Just about everything you want or need is a walk, short cab or bus 
ride away, and Austin bus service is cheap, easy to use and safe. 
 
This is an amazing location and new as a vacation rental.

queen Simmons Beauty Rest topped with a feather bed, one comfortable 
sofa (the 
cushions are filled with feathers  
and very sleep-able)with a feather bed to top it as well. 
Remodeled bathroom, updated kitchen with tiled 
bar and bar stools,  
dining room that sits 6, gas stove, refrigerator (filtered water and 
ice maker,) microwave,  
coffee maker,kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes, flatware, 
dishwasher, washer & dryer,  
CD & DVD players and DVD's, X-Box with games, i-pod docks,  
2 flat screen TVs, telephone, wireless internet,  
iron and ironing board,linens, towels.Two tennis rackets and balls. 
 
Glass doors from the master bedroom walk lead to a deck, and well 
shaded back deck. 
On-site and street parking. 
 
Eggs, milk, bread, butter and condiments always in the 
refrigerator, two guitars (a pink Ovation and a pink Epiphone)  
plus lots and lots of books.  
 
The cottage is owned by the owner of 
Pink Hair Salon and Gallery,  
so make an appointment while you are in Austin.

No parking worries for South by Southwest,  
Austin City Limits Music Festival, 
Zilker Park Kite Festival or any major Austin Activity. 
 
Stroll out the front door, turn left and walk to Jo’s Coffee, 
traditional Mexican food at El Sol Y La Luna,

Vespaio (white truffles in season,) 
the Hotel San Jose Courtyard, 
The famous Continental Club, Antones' 
turn right, the bats under the Congress Avenue Bridge  
(David Bowies’favorite thing about Austin,) 
Lady Bird Lake, offering some of the best sculling in the 
country(formally Town Lake,) 
the Hike & Bike trails, Swimming pools, and tennis.

$4000. per month for 2-3 guests. No tax on 30 night stay. 
$4500. per month for 4-5 guests. No tax on 30 night stay. 
Rates for up to 6 guests on inquiry.  
Additional charge for pets. Inquire with owner. No cats. 
SXSW Music Festival March 18-23rd. 2009: Inquire with owner for rates. 
Austin City Limits Music Festival Sept. 24-30, 2008: Inquire with 
owner for rates 
Security deposit of $500. required. Refundable after home
