Large well-lit renovated studio (approximately 630 sq') with a huge
partially-covered deck overlooking the tree-lined backyard in in the
Silver Lake hills above Glendale Blvd (near Ralphs, Sav-On,
Gingergrass). Quiet, private, and secure. Three minutes from the 2 and
five minutes from the 5 (Fletcher entrance). 10 minutes from downtown,
15 from Hollywood.

One large room with small separate kitchen and large attached
bathroom. Full-sized bed (Sealy), wood-burning and gas fireplace,
berber carpet and hardwood floors, two sets of sliding doors leading
onto the deck and a side entry door (all with wrought iron security
gates, and all doors and windows alarmed). Tiled stall shower and
low-profile toilet and lots of cabinet space and softened water in the
bathroom. Pass-through with bartop from the functional kitchen to the
main room. Deck is partially covered.

This unit is a full-time sublet (so empty cabinets, etc. except for
kitchen stuff, linens, toiletries and such).

No shoes, no smoke, no pets please.

Heat and A/C, high-speed WiFi cable Internet, cable TV.

Close access to freeways 2, 5, 101, and 110. Public bus is 5 minutes
walk (but in Los Angeles you really need a car).

VW convertible available for exclusive use by arrangement

Silver Lake is a district east of Hollywood that is inhabited by a
wide variety of ethnicities and socioeconomic groups, but it is best
known as an eclectic gathering of the creative class. Silver Lake is
known for its bohemian vibe, mix of class levels, and neighborhood
feel. Silver Lake contains some of the most famous modernist
architecture in the United States.

The rental's neighborhood has shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. within 5
minutes walk.

Griffith Park is a short drive, with its zoo, observatory/planeterium,
museums, concert hall, horseback riding, etc. Southern California
attractions are freeway close.

$750 security deposit in advance.
