Cat's Eye Mountain Cottage at Panthertown Valley in Cashiers

Step out the door of Cat’s Eye cottage onto the trail through famous, Panthertown Valley, an eco-tourist's dream. Cottage is located at the end of Breedlove Road in Cashiers, North Carolina next to the trail's head. It is perfect for day hiking, camping, mountain-biking, fly-fishing, rock-climbing
and horseback riding. There are numerous water falls, swimming holes and campsites located throughout Panthertown Valley. Riding stables are located around the corner from the cottage, and trail rides leave through the valley twice daily at the end of the back driveway.

Our mountain cottage comfortably sleeps 7, featuring master bedroom with a king bed, second bedroom with a queen bed, and a child's room with a twin bed. A large living room off the kitchen has a comfortable sleeper sofa. There are 1 and 1/2 baths.Sip a cup of morning coffee or enjoy a BBQ on the deck overlooking Panthertown Valley backcountry area. The views are spectacular year round, but most especially during the fall leaf season. Rustic brick fireplace in living room makes for a cozy place to relax after a day of enjoying the outdoors.

Cashiers and Highlands, the two nearest towns (15-20min) offer fine dining and country cooking, antique, sports and gift shops as well as boutiques.
