1st only.) The Sandpiper complex is located on the south end
of South Fletcher Avenue next to Peter's Point and has two rows of
town homes. This two bedroom, two bath oceanside townhouse has a
covered carport. When you come in the entry door a flight of stairs
will take you to the living room, dining room and kitchen. Glass
doors and windows in the living room give you an ocean view and
access to the deck. Plenty of cabinet space in the gorgeous, updated
kitchen cabinets. Dining for 6 at the large natural wood table. One
TV with VCR and DVD Player. A second flight of stairs will take you
to the second level which has the master bedroom, second bedroom and
2 baths. The master bedroom has a King bed, private bath and access
to a private deck. The second bedroom has 2 queen beds. The second
bath is off the hallway on this level. There is no bathroom on the
main level. There is a small swimming pool in the complex and a
private boardwalk to the beach. No gas/charcoal grilling is permitted
on balcony or patio.

The townhome is cleaned and stocked prior to arrival and after
departure of each tenant. This unit does not provide daily maid
service. It will be stocked with linens and starter supplies of soap
and paper products. A cleaning fee is included in the price of the
rental.
Jacksonville International Airport is located about 25 minutes from
the Sandpiper townhomes. From Jacksonville International Airport,
take I-95 S to exit 373 (Amelia Island), bear right onto A1A
which takes you to Amelia Island. Cross the bridge onto the island
and turn right at the second light onto Sadler Road. Continue on
Sadler Road to the beach. Go around the roundabout and proceed south
on S. Fletcher Avenue. Sandpiper will be on your left in about 2
miles.

Amelia Island is legendary for its dramatic history and the beauty of
its natural setting. This townhome is conveniently located on the
beach. Where the beach begins, so do a variety of activities,
including swimming in the ocean, surf fishing, sand-castle-building,
horseback riding on the beach and searching for sharks' teeth.
Peter's Point Park is adjacent to the Sandpiper and horseback riding
on the beach is available there. A 2-block stroll south on the beach
takes you to the Ritz-Carlton of Amelia Island which has a world-
class spa, several restaurants, a lounge with live entertainment and
beach activities. It's just a short drive to Main Beach Park which
has a skate park, boardwalk, picnic area and miniature golf course.
Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Off the beach
there is a host of exciting things to do - like visiting the old
seaport town of Fernandina with its intriguing shops and restaurants
and wealth of 19th century, restored buildings. Ft. Clinch State Park
offers a restored fort, hiking and biking trails, and fishing on the
pier. For golf lovers, the Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course is
just down the street and tee times are easy to schedule.
