Beaches
Prospects Bay is your nearest beach and under a 5 minute walk. There are many great beaches along
the west coast. Within walking distance you have. Fitts Village which is a quiet beach,Great for
Sunbathers, who want to relax, it also has great reefs excellent for snorkeling. You also have
Batts Rock, & Payne�s Bay.
The Local bus will take into Holetown (10 minutes away) where you shop Duty/Tax Free in the quaint
chattel shops. Visit Folkestone Marine Park and Museum, and Snorkel or swim
Around the reef which is home to numerous fish and other marine Life.
Tennis courts, a basketball court, picnic benches, a snack bar and a
Children�s playgrounds are also present at Folkestone.
Travel a bit further a field into Speightstown which was the first major port and commercial centre
of Barbados, now revived and home of a brand new luxury marina development - Port St. Charles.
Speightstown also has some fine examples of original Barbados architecture.
Kensington Oval a mere 10 minutes drive, Bridgetown an additional 5 minutes.
All Barbados Attractions are easily accesible from the Villas location, and can be reached by
Public. Transport, Car not required, but advisable if you wish to really discover Barbados!
Transfers can be arranged From and to Airport to Villa, or Car hire as reasonable rates to be
Collected from and dropped back off at Airport on your departure
