Overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains and nestled among 3.5 quiet acres, our private cottage also has views of Lake Chatuge – known as the Lake Tahoe of the East.

With a 128 miles of shoreline, Lake Chatuge is beautiful and clean and ideal for swimming, boating and fishing. Boat and jet-ski rental is available just a half-mile away, and the cottage is located less than 5 minutes from two marinas on the shores of Lake Chatuge. Nearby Jackrabbit Campground offers a public boat launch, picnic areas and a beach swimming area.

For the land lover, there are local wineries, antique stores, horseback riding, restaurants, shopping, plenty of hiking trails, and two 18-hole golf courses nearby. Enjoy events, concerts and festivals year round in downtown Hiawassee, the surrounding areas, and the GA Mountain Fairgrounds. Bella Vista is an upscale cottage offering 2 large bedrooms (and additional full sized futon in the great room), an unsurpassed fully equipped gourmet kitchen, granite breakfast bar, 2 full bathrooms with natural stone details, a CD stereo with iPod dock, a high definition television with satellite dish and DVD player (complete with a selection of movies), board games, books and a fireplace for those cozy nights.

A *fully equipped* gourmet kitchen makes it easy to create wonderful meals for those who enjoy cooking and baking. All bedroom and bath linens, as well as toiletries are provided for our guests. Bella Vista offers all the luxury and comfort of home in a beautiful mountain setting.
