Activities and Attractions

Southwest Florida abounds with attractions both active and relaxing with this area of Manasota being  
no exception.   
Locally there is an abundance of restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets ranging from fine  
dining to casual fare and every level in between.  
For the more active; golf courses, tennis courts, watersports and cycle ways can be found within a  
short drive from the villa.  For the anglers in your group the fishing is world renowned with  
the ‘Tarpon Capital of the World’ Boca Grande being located only 45 mins away.  A mixture of  
artificial reefs and natural fish havens in the close locality provide an excellent basis for  
catching the elusive ‘big one’ that is the talk of the evening! All this mixed with the public boat  
launching ramp being only 2 mins away from the villa provide an unrivalled experience for boaters  
and anglers of all types. 
Numerous malls, including both upscale shops and the more usual offerings, can be found along with  
quaint boutiques lining pretty streets making the shopping experience in this area varied and  
rewarding.  Renowned outlet malls can be found both 40 mins to the North and 1 hour to the South so  
there’s no excuse for not finding that must-have bargain!  
Busch Gardens and Tampa are located just 1 hour North for a different experience of Southwest  
Florida and of course the amazing amenities that Orlando and Walt Disney World have to offer are
