Lakefront cottage in rural area between Mystic and Foxwoods in Mystic

The cottage feels like you are at a cabin up in Maine.  It has a rustic feel and it is on a quiet lake that time seems to have forgot.  It is literally right on the water as you can see in the pictures.  Adults can relax and hang their feet in the water, go for a kayak or canoe ride, and after dinner sit and watch the sun set over the water.  Children of all ages can be busy swimming, boating, fishing, and connecting with nature, maybe even catch a turtle.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms that sleep 2 each and more space in the living room.  We have recently updated the kitchen and bathroom.  The kitchen comes equipped with dishes and appliances so just bring your food to have a meal inside, on the deck, or on the screen porch. There is a BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit.

Most people enjoy relaxing and recreating right at the lake, yet you are right in the middle of tourist central.  The ocean shore and Bluff Point state park are just 15 minutes away, Rhode Island beaches just 25 minutes, hiking trails are close, Mystic is a favorite for families, and tons of dining and entertainment in Mystic and of course at Foxwoods.

September is a wonderful time of year to come to the cottage and enjoy the sunsets, campfires, hikes, and sightseeing after the summer crowds have left.  In October you can see the changing colors of the leaves around the lake with beautiful vistas from the deck.  Leaf peepers flock to New England for the fall foliage and this cottage is no exception so book early to reserve the cottage for this special time of year.  You can watch the fall colors and the sunsets from the firepits or the deck.  The stone fireplace in the living room casts a romantic glow on the high vaulted pine-board ceiling. 

FOXWOODS: you would never know it when you're at the lake, but Foxwoods casino is just 5 minutes away also. So it is easy to bring your group down to the all you can eat buffet, or adults could go back and forth to see a show, other entertainment or gambling.

5 min to Foxwoods, 10 min to Mystic, 25 min to New London, 20 min to Mohegan Sun, 25 min to Rhode Island's beautiful beaches.

April, May, September and October: $850/week, $600 for 3 day weekend, $500 for 2 day weekend, $500 for 4 nights mid-week

June, July and August: $1400/week, $750/3 day weekend, $650/2 day weekend, $800 for Monday through Friday

Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends:  $800(3 nights, 4 days)

November through March: The cottage is available for rental by the month at a discount rate of approximately 1000/mo. Please inquire.
