Clearwater Cove - Isn't it your turn? in Watts Bar Lake

This wonderful lake house is comfortable and inviting with a bit of country charm. We pride ourselves in offering our guests a clean, relaxing and stress-free home away from home.

Situated mid way on a calm and quiet cove, you can sit on any of the three outdoor decks and lose yourself in the beauty of the woods and tranquility of the water. When you are ready to get wet, you'll have 100 feet of shoreline at your pleasure, perfect for inner tube and raft floating. The lake bottom is soft on the feet and shallow near the shoreline, suitable for everyone and just right for hangin' out or splashing around. Set up your net for a game of water volley ball if you like - there is plenty of room.

Got a boat or jet ski? Bring it along. You can launch it a mile from the house, bring it around and secure it in any of the three covered slips (the largest of which measures 11x29 ft.) where it will be protected during your stay. The summer pool water level is four feet deep at the end of the dock. Nearby marinas offer boats and pontoons for rent.

As the day winds down, your outdoor enjoyment doesn't have to stop just because the sun sets. Grab a chair and take your favorite refreshment out to the lounge area of the dock, well illuminated by overhead light fixtures.

If you prefer being inside, you can lounge in the upper level sunroom with seven floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the cove. If there is a breeze stirring, pull up a chair on either of the flanking outdoor decks or in the screened-in porch immediately below. Sit, relax at the patio table and gaze out onto the lake.

When you are ready to venture out, you will find yourself in one of the more popular areas of the lake. Nearby are 5 lakeside restaurants, any of which are ready to serve fresh oysters, succulent shrimp, fabulous grouper or a finely cooked steak (they can all be reached by car or boat). One of the more popular marinas with which serves good food and offers panoramic lake vistas is only two miles by road. A public boat launch (free of charge) is one mile away. Groceries, fuel and eateries can all be found within 5 few miles of the house.

Watts Bar Lake covers over 39,000 acres of outstanding crisp, clear water for whatever toys you have, almost 800 miles of shoreline to explore and your own quiet cove to dip your feet or whole body into. This vacation lake house covers 2,400 sf on two levels:

The MBR faces the lake and contains a QUEEN bed, two closets, ceiling fan, cable TV/VCR and adjoining full bath with tub surround and his and her (double) sinks. The other two bedrooms are sunlit, roomy and comfortable with FULL beds. Adjacent to the living room is the second full bath.

For your convenience and comfort, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with six captain's chairs, living room, window-wall sunroom (with twin ceiling fans) overlooking the water,
2 open-air side decks and a front deck/porch.

1 bedroom with 2 twin beds and adjacent 3/4 bath; TV area with recliner couches and chair; game room with Brunswick pool table and air hockey table; full size washer and dryer; 4 seat game table and a dry bar. Within the screened-in porch you will find a patio table w/6 chairs.

This home sits on a nicely shaded, level lot covering 2/3 acre with a gentle slope to the water. The dock has both a ladder and staircase to the water and carves out three covered slips.

You MUST check out the Watts Bar Belle, a newly introduced paddle-wheel riverboat vessel! With a capacity of 149 passengers, the Belle provides sightseeing, cocktail and dinner cruises. It even has an open-air upper deck to enjoy dinner at sunset!

On the main channel, you'll see cruisers, pontoons, bowriders, jet skis, fishing boats, 60' yachts and even a barge or two (Watts Bar Lake is navigable to the Gulf of Mexico). It's never crowded though, even on the most popular boating days. Water skiing and tubing are quite popular.

If fishing suits your interest, you're in luck! The lake is teeming with large- and small-mouth bass, crappie, channel and blue catfish, rockfish, striped bass, sauger and more.

Gosh, Watts Bar Lake has something for everyone! With all the numerous coves and bays, there are countless places to drift and enjoy the shoreline, the wildlife and your own quiet reflections.

When you're not on the lake, take a 35 mile ride to Knoxville (the newly developed Turkey Creek shopping mall in West Knoxville is quite popular) for some big city entertainment, dining and shopping. Or make a day of it and visit the Great Smoky Mountains, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, all about 1.5 hours away. Or, how about the Knoxville Zoo, Atomic Speedway, Tennessee Aquarium and IMAX 3D Theatre, The Lost Sea, Lookout Mountain and Rock City.

There's just so much!

A $500 reservation/security deposit will lock in your dates and is fully refundable.

The full rental fee, tax and $25 cleaning fee is due no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation policy: All deposits are 100% refundable with at least 45 days notice prior to arrival. Otherwise, 50% will be refunded.

For your pet, please add $10/night plus a $75 deposit(refundable if no extra cleaning is required).
