This two bedroom, two bathroom, 1,475 square foot home was originally
built in 1915. It was completely remodeled in 2001 and then again in
2007. It is designed to maintain its old world charm while providing
modern day amenities. This home is three blocks east of downtown
Austin. It is bright and airy with ten foot ceilings throughout and
many windows for natural lighting. A mere six blocks away from
Austin's famous Sixth Street entertainment district and within
walking distance to fine dining, coffee houses and art galleries. Did
we mention that the University of Texas at Austin is a short 1.5 mile
jaunt where you can enjoy all of UT?s athletic events.

Take in a view of the downtown skyline from the front porch swing,
enjoy the privacy and solitude in the back yard with our two old
Labrador Retriever (Levi), relax inside and watch a film on the big
screen television, or take a bike ride, walk or short taxi ride to
all the fun that Austin offers on a daily basis. However you decide
to spend your time in Austin, the charm of the home and special
location will guarantee a fabulous experience. This home is located
in an eclectic neighborhood. This area immediately east of downtown
Austinis home to many local artists, musicians, unique establishments
and renovation projects. There is a church across the street and many
long time residents on the block. There is a dilapidated home on
the corner and a four-plex to one side of the property. All the
neighbors are wonderful and friendly. If you are looking for a "Leave
It to Beaver" neighborhood, this may not be for you. If you are
looking for an enchanting dwelling with close proximity to everything
Austin has to offer, this is definitely the place!

$200 per night for 1-3 guests with a 2 night minimum + 15% hotel tax.
$225 per night for 4-5 guests with a 2 night minimum + 15% hotel tax.
$25 per night for 6th guest + 15% hotel tax.
$1,300 per week for 1-3 guests + 15% hotel tax.
$1,475 per week for 4-5 guests + 15% hotel tax.

SXSW Housing Rates: Available March 13-17, 2009
1-2 guests .. $400/night..with a 5 night minimum + 15% hotel tax.
3-5 guests .. $450/night..with a 5 night minimum + 15% hotel tax.
