This resort like waterfront home is nestled on 2 acres sprinkled with coconut palms and cypress
trees draped with Spanish moss. 585 feet on the 19 mile long Rim canal results in waterfront views
from most rooms along with beautiful tropic sunsets.

The stilted, octagon, cedar home boosts an elevated, wrap around porch with deck, 2 bedrooms, 2 full
bathrooms, large kitchen with all new appliances, waterfront view dining area, great room with brick
fireplace, 14 foot cedar beamed ceilings, and curved staircase that leads to the "Crows Nest" den
which lets you look over Lake Okeechobee while having a cocktail or watching TV.

This comfortable, interesting home also has a dock, for great fishing, under house parking for 3 to
4 vehicles, circular driveway, RV pad, and seaplane/boat ramp.

Beautifully decorated with a nautical theme, sprinkled with a few antiques, you will want for
nothing as it comes fully furnished. Recliners for relaxing, a wonderful, pillow top King size bed
in master bedroom, very comfortable fold out queen size sleeper sofa in guest room, and relaxing
chairs on the elevated deck to watch wildlife and sunsets at their best. Just bring food, fishing
poles and a toothbrush.

All linens (Egypian cotton), towels, pillows, dinnerware, silverware, glasses, and pots and pans are
provided. A coffeemaker is included for that ever important morning cup of coffee as well as a
toaster, microwave, mixer, crock-pot, bakeware, and combo stack washer and dryer.

Enjoy satellite TV in the great room, kitchen, master bedroom and Crow's Nest den. Combo DVD/VHS
units are in great room, master bedroom, and den as well.

Reverse Osmosis lets you enjoy bottled water taste from the tap or ice maker. Central air
conditioning, heat, and ceiling fans in every room keeps you comfortable in any weather.

Okeechobee is located approximately 1 hour northwest of West Palm Beach, 40 minutes west of Stuart,
and 2 hours southwest of Orlando. Palm Beach International Airport is 1 hour 10 minutes away and
the beautiful Gardens Mall and City Place is a mere 55 minutes. Okeechobee City is a wonderful,
laid back town 15 minutes from our home and offers you plenty of shopping choices, restaurants,
airboat rides, fishing guide tours and a movie theater. Just across the street from you is a new
Polo and Yacht Club in progress with free Polo matches during the year. If you feel like biking,
jogging, or walking, the Okeechobee Scenic Trail is right up the street. Get fit while taking in
sights of the lake and Rim canal. If just chilling around the house is your thing, you certainly
won't be bored watching boaters, Florida wildlife, exotic birds, fabulous sunsets, and gators
cruising up the waterway from the elevated deck, kitchen table, or Crow's Nest.

Want a little action? Two miles up the road is the historical J & S Tavern. The second oldest bar
on the lake is open air and boosts a wonderful Tiki hut and bandstand for music and cookouts on the
weekend. Love motorcycles? Sunday is bike day at J&S, as well as other places on the lake, and a
good time is always had by all. Take a day and travel around the lake to other fun and interesting
places. You won't be disappointed.

Through out the year, Okeechobee hosts many fun events. Rodeos, the Speckled Perch Festival, and
fishing tournaments are just to name a few. Of course, the ever-popular Disney World, Universal
Studios, and MGM parks are a couple hours away, too. For you adventure seekers, the Brighton Casino
is just around the lake, as well as golf, antiquing, and hunting.
