  Last Fall we discovered the private resort side of Lake Lure, a beautiful mountain lake area  
between two championship golf courses. We bought three and completely remodeled two adjoining Apple  
Valley Villas for our families and to rent.  
  We decided to go with a golf-themed decor including dresser and antique wood-shafted golf clubs as  
decorations inside and on the outside deck to hang a tapestry. We added an old pot-bellied stove  
with a glass top for a rustic touch. 
*King size bed with a single pull-out sofa and coordinated bedding 
*37" HD Cable TV with articulating wall mount for viewing anywhere in the room 
*DVD player 
*Wide crown molding accent throughout 
*New bath, vanity, and kitchen fixtures and cabinetry 
*Tiled kitchen and bath/vanity area 
*Electric fireplace, realistic looking with or without great heater and blower on

  Walk a short distance to the bottom of the hill and visit The Back Door Restaurant and Bedrock
