Congratulations! You have found one of the best vacation rentals on the North Coast! We rented vacation homes in the area for years, before retiring and building our own home away from home, in this beautiful rural setting. We considered our rental experiences (good and bad). It was our goal to create the perfect experience for you in design, function and ammenities. From all the wonderful comments shared with us by our prior guests, we've been very successful! Seahorse Cottage is perched on the top of a 3.5 acre bluff, with a 180 degree ocean/white water view that features the Albion Bay, redwood forests, grasslands, the Albion River, and the last wooden bridge to span Highway 1. (NOTE: The photos here don't accurately reflect our close proximity to the water's edge, as they were taken to provide more of a panorama.) Our location, perched above the Albion Bay/River, demanded a highly engineered bio septic system.  Accordingly, we must limit our guest number to a MAXIMUM OF FOUR  with a possible fifth if a small child or infant. K-9 kids with Advanced Approval Only. Thank You!

Our amazing retreat was built with luxury and enjoyment in mind. The details, furnishings and decor reflect the care and love we have for our little piece of paradise. We're within walking distance to the Village of Albion (1/4 mile) which has an amazing store/deli/expresso counter, post office and hardware store. We're also within minutes of the Albion River Inn and the Ledford House, both renown for their fabulous cuisine and excellent service. Little River Inn, which offers another lovely restaurant and small golf course, is only a few miles north. Any one of these fine restaurants will provide a true dining experience!

Canoe and Kayak rentals are available at the Albion dock below our home. This is great family fun and a wonderful way to explore the Albion River and sea caves in the Albion Bay.

Wow! There are way too many things to begin to mention.

Two Night Minimum base: $595-720., depending on number of guests. (Excludes pet fees, if applicable.) The initial minimum, 2 night stay,  incorporates all fees & charges.  Thereafter, the daily rate is in effect. NOTE! This is an All Inclusive rate! No Add-on pricing! This rate is your total charge and includes applicable fees for tax, 11% room tax,housekeeping, spa maintenance charges & garbage, etc. Many listings add these charges to the base rates they quote, so be sure to confirm when making comparisons.  We have a three night minimum for some holiday weekends.
Nightly rate (after initial 2 night minimum visit) is $250.00 (May be discounted for extended stays, or our very special returning guests and referrals) Please provide dates and number of guests so we can quote an exact rental rate. Dog fee: ( If a K9 child is approved in ADVANCE) is $55.00  Sorry, we can't accept cats, birds, etc.  Also, please contact us directly to determine availability,  as we DO NOT utilize the on-line calendar.
