Vacation Rental Description

Quaint cabin in beautiful Twain Harte. Centrally located between the private Twain Harte Lake and  
downtown. It is walking distance to everything in Twain Harte, including tennis courts, walking  
trails, restaurants, "downtown", miniature golf, public pool, playground, skateboard park, golf  
course and the private Twain Harte lake.   The Twain Harte lake is a membership only lake with  
lifeguards, slides, diving board, surf bike rentals, sandy beach and a snack bar.  Every Tuesday and  
Thursday evening they have a very family friendly Bingo game.  Check the Twain Harte Village website  
for more info on lake and town events.  Also, you will find the schedule for the free concerts in  
the park.  This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.  It has a large deck with outside dining and  
seating. The entire house is surrounded by large pine trees.  The driveway will accomodate 3 cars,  
plus it has an additional driveway on the property.  RV access is possible. 
This is a no smoking and no pets rental.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This vacation cabin has three bedrooms and one bath.  It is fully furnished.   
It has a telephone for local calls (bring your calling card).  The cell reception is unreliable  
sometimes. It has a wood burning fireplace in the family room.  It has a main heater on the main  
floor and a separate heater in the downstairs bedroom.  There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms on  
the main floor and in the family room.  There is air conditioning on the main floor.  Queen size bed  
in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and one queen with bunkbeds in the  
third bedroom.  The inside dining table seats five and the outside dining table seats eight.  The  
deck has an over hang over the dining table.  The other part of the deck has an umbrella four large  
chairs, two small tables and a chaise lounge.  The BBQ is charcoal. The cabin has a TV w/ satellite,  
VCR/DVD & stereo (AM/FM/cassette/CD. The cabin has 3 bedrooms with 2 queens, 2 singles and 1 bunk  
bed--it sleeps 8 comfortably. It has a fully equipped kitchen w/ a coffee maker, toaster oven,  
pots/pans, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, refrigerator, electric stove, oven, electric tea  
kettle and basic kitchen equipment. We have eating utensils, knives, kitchen utensils, BBQ utensils,  
washer, dryer, clothesline, bake ware, and etc.  We provide pillows and blankets, pot holders, and  
kitchen towels.  Bring your own sheets--2 queens, 4 singles, pillow cases, bath & beach towels and  
lake gear. Bring charcoal to BBQ.

Vacation Rental Rates

For Fall/Winter/Spring ONLY:  $125 a night with a 2 night minimum.  The weekly rate is $850.   
There is a $250 security deposit and a $60 cleaning fee.  The cleaning fee is waived with the weekly  
rentals. $160.00 due to hold your reservation.  This is non-refundable if you cancel less than 14  
days before your scheduled arrival.   
 
For SUMMER:  The cabin is only available for weekly rentals.  The weekly rate is $950.  Summer time  
is defined from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.     
 
Changed rules for the Twain Harte Lake Entrance: by the Twain Harte Lake Board in 2008, renters can  
no longer be given lake tickets. Renters can use the lake for a fee of $5.00 per day, per person  
three years old or older.  
$50.00 non-refundable fee if over 14 days cancellation.
