Hacienda La Alhaja enjoys a very unique location overlooking the stunning El Torcal Natural Park, an  
area famed for its outstanding natural beauty and is in the heart of Andalucia. This stunning luxury  
mountain retreat, with its traditional charm, provides the ultimate five star ‘home from home’  
experience, a welcoming atmosphere, along with attentive and discreet personal service for up to 20  
guests.  
 
 
Private & Exclusively Yours 
Guests can chill out in this relaxed and totally private estate and be assured of a memorable  
holiday with family or groups of friends. The main house has 8 en-suite bedrooms, individually  
styled with luxury beds, soft linen, flat screen television, DVD and CD players. Each bedroom pays  
tribute to a famous Spanish artist, all have been furnished in a traditional Andalucian style, with  
some contemporary touches.  
 
The main salon is inviting and stylishly furnished, has a large stone fireplace and superbly  
comfortable sofas and chairs arranged into various seating areas. There is a cosy dining room with  
fireplace, perfect for the cooler nights of early spring and autumn, and spectacular covered dining  
terrace, which has panoramic views.  
 
The main house has a fully equipped professional kitchen and laundry room. The property benefits  
from underfloor heating and air conditioning in the main rooms and some bedrooms. All rooms have  
overhead ceiling fans. Due to its location at 845 metres above sea level, the Hacienda enjoys balmy  
pleasant night time temperatures of around 22°C in July and August.

For the ultimate pampering experience a local masseur can be booked for aromatherapy and sport  
massages or reflexology treatment. The therapist will be available by appointment. We can also  
organise private pilates lessons for our guests during their stay. Then there is our sauna room,  
poolside jacuzzi, 12 x 6 metre heated swimming pool and, for the more energetic, our all weather  
artificial grass tennis court and mountain bikes for you to explore the surrounding countryside.  
There are plenty of hiking and walking trails around the area. Walking maps can be provided for  
guests of the Hacienda.  
Self catered or fully catered options. Our house Chef is Savoy Hotel London trained with 35 years  
experience.  
 
 
Local Amenities 
Horse Riding for groups of 2 or more can be arranged locally, along with Clay Pigeon Shooting, Quad  
Bike Tours, and Motorcross Bike Tours. For golf enthusiasts, the Antequera Golf Course is located  
just 16 kms away from the Hacienda. Clubs can be rented from the golf club.
