The Great Hide-a-way in Toledo Bend

This newly renovated, charming, waterfront camp lies on the Texas
side of Toledo Bend Reservoir just south of the Pendleton Bridge in Milam / Hemphill, TX. The house  offers a view of the
water from the covered front porch. The yard is big enough to play a
game of kickball or volleyball with the family.

June - August Preferred for Weekly Rentals.

BR 1 has one queen and one twin. BR 2 has one double, and one twin.
BR 3 has a twin over full bunk bed. The living room has a queen hide-
a-bed with new mattress.

TV with Dish Network in the living room.

Full size washer & dryer and half bath in laundry off living room,
dining room and eat in kitchen stocked with pots & pans, dishes,
cutlery, includes ice-maker, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee
maker.

Linens & indoor towels provided, small deck off kitchen with charcoal
grill, large covered deck on lake side of house with table & chairs
wraps around to sun deck on side.

Toiletries, cleaning supplies are not provided.

Bring your sunscreen and watercraft to enjoy Boating, Fishing, Water
Skiing, Tubing, Jet-Skiing, and Swimming all summer and well into the
fall! There are no local watercraft rental facilities.

A newly installed boat ramp in the neighborhood is just around the
bend. Texas fishing license is required.

Pic-N-Pay convenience store across the highway, and Toledo Town, LA
is just across the bridge for fishing supplies, fuel, groceries, and
alcoholic beverages.

The charming town square of Hemphill is 11 miles away with two
antique stores, a health shop, skate shop, gallery, and a County
Museum located in the old Jail, complete with a rare, historic
hanging cell!

Restaurants: Calfee's is one mile away on 21 for breakfast,
sandwiches & home cooking. Fisherman's Galley just across in LA for a
seafood buffet, Hemphill BBQ with the best sauce around and home-made
pies is just minutes away at the corner of 3121 & 83. The town of
Hemphill has El Giro for great Mexican, a Dairy Queen, and on the
town square you can find great Italian at the Bistro.

Golf: Cypress Bend Golf Resort is located just across the river in
Louisiana.
